Staff were very friendly and helpful. The food was very nice and the location was excellent. All in hotel a lovely hotel.

Pity it doesn't have a pool for kids. The fan in the bathroom was on all night as my wife wanted a little light so we left the bathroom light on. I found it hard to sleep and tossed and turned a lot.

The room was spacious and clean . Everything you needed was there . The shower was very good and the luxury shampoo and conditioner was lovely . Staff were so nice friendly and attentive . Defo go back again

All the staff were excellent. Whoever does the hiring and training is doing a splendid job 👏 The food was excellent and we will definitely be staying again.

Friendly staff, great rooms - clean tidy and spacious. The bed was really comfy!! Really nice hotel with cosy bar and great variety of beers and spirits. Hope to be back to make use of the Spa at some stage.

a roadside property located within the town of Ballyliffin. The car park is free and behind the hotel. very easy access with no steps to the hotel. A lift is available up to the rooms. The hotel is spacious with a large breakfast room and pub. the breakfast is included and was very nice with a choice of hot dishes including eggs benedict. the evening menu is a bit restricted but all dishes were nicely cooked. the towels are nice quality. the shower hot and with good pressure. limited road noise ensured a good nights sleep. staff are very pleasant.

the hotel is of a good standard but isn't "superior" or "luxurious". the bed was a bit lumpy and the pillows poor quality. the spa didn't seem to be available to walk ins. I would say the hotel is more a pub with rooms than a full service hotel.

The spa was really nice, treatments were excellent. Staff overall were very friendly. Really good WiFi. Bedroom was comfortable and bathroom was too. It's a small hotel in a rural area. Home made pancakes for breakfast were delicious!

The common areas could be updated as they seemed a bit tired and dated.

Location was good and the breakfast tasted good

Musty smell coming from bathroom, bathroom very dusty with cobwebs. only 1 hand towel, no bath mat for exiting the shower. Only 1 pillow each so made sleep uncomfortable. When we went for breakfast we were left with no explanation of how the breakfast worked. We had to ask for menu, then ask for tea, then ask to order. waited really long for the food to come and staff kept avoiding eye contact. We were really looking forward to staying here however we were extremely disappointed it did not meet any of our expectations of a 4 star hotel. The room looked nothing like the photos advertised. We did order a cosy room but the size was not the problem.

The service in the hotel was second to none. Had a great spacious room which was spotless clean. Had everything you look for in a hotel. Food was beautiful and nothing was to much trouble.

The breakfast was good when it came but the service was very slow. Evening meal was good for bar food but I would have expected a more sophisticated menu in a 4 star hotel.
