The property was beautiful. It was like a mini stately home, with lots of antique furniture and art. The air conditioning in the room was very effective. The owner Nunzio is a real gentleman. Very helpful, as is his son who I exchanged messages with. The B&B is just steps away from the cathedral and a lively square where you can enjoy a drink outside. If you are a fan of bakeries you must find time to visit Forno Santa Caterina. It’s only a seven minute walk away and produces some amazing goods!

Although it wasn’t a problem for me, the area around the cathedral is quite lively at night. So if you require silence when you go to sleep, you might want to remember that.

Le petit dej était copieux et excellent.nous avons apprécié le fair d’avoir des pâtisseries maison et des œufs cuits à la minute selon plusieurs choix possibles. Les règles de la maison et du voisinage ont été clairement expliquées. Nous avons particulièrement aimé la rapidité de la propriétaire à nos obtenir un permis de stationnement dans la Ztl qui était pour nous un sujet de préoccupation d autant que c’était le jour de notre arrivée en Italie. Et surtout sa gentiiesse et ses conseils pour découvrir la ville

Tout était parfit. Nous n’arrivons pas à trouver un point d’amélioration.

The building is historic and has an amazing tile floor. Lots of original touches. The host Pasquale is amiable.

So close to City Center. Very well organized place.

Italian style bed and breakfast but with a classy twist. Right in the center of Altamura, close to everything. Very nice building and interiors, very nice communication with the host! If you want to visit the area ( Madera and/or Bari) but you don't want to stay in the busy areas of those two cities, than Altamura is the right place for you! The hotel is in the pedestrian area so no car access but you can find parking 2-3 minutes away by foot - try on Corso Vittorio Emanuele II.
