Completamente renovada en 2011, esta cabaña tiene pisos de madera, una cocina totalmente equipada con encimeras de granito y electrodomésticos de acero inoxidable, que incluyen estufa / horno a gas, lavaplatos y microondas, así como una lavadora / secadora apilables. Darling beach house, well stocked and in a perfect location! A wonderful view to enjoy from sunrise to sunset. Manager was wonderful and attentive to our questions and needs. Would love to go back.

The website pictures don’t do this adorable seaside cottage justice. Upon first entering, the ocean view from the picture window is spectacular. It cannot be captured in just a photo. The views also change with the tides and the weather which add to the effect. We felt immediately at home in this restful setting.
We were also impressed with the cleanliness and the attention to detail in the decorations and the amenities. With all that is provided, there is really nothing that a person needs to bring. The internet connection is strong. There is Alexa and a wide range of television options on Spectrum, the service provider. It is obvious that the owners are very attached to this cottage which has been in their family for many years. Beth, the property manager for the owners, lives right across the street. She is very friendly and willing to provide information about the cottage, York, and other coastal locations. If any issues arise, send a quick text, and she is right there to help you resolve them.
The location, near the southern end of Long Sands beach is convenient to the historic town of York. We noted that York has sidewalks and designated lanes for bicycles and jogging on all of York Street. That is an important safety feature that we have not seen in many other towns. Hannaford Supermarket is only a 10 minute drive. Short Sands beach is quite different with its zoo, sandy beach, souvenir shops, and restaurants. You will definitely enjoy your stay here!!

Our stay at the “Maine house” as my kids were calling it was amazing. We absolutely loved the week we were there. Beth greeted us upon arrival and we just knew it was going to be a perfect home away from home.

This was our 2nd stay and we love it ! The view is just amazing and the location is perfect! My only suggestion would be to add a sectional sofa so we can hang out as a family. With only the love seat, our 17 yr twins hung out in their beds because the wicker chairs were not comfortable. It would be great to be able to all sit together ! It would definitely fit too plenty of space! Beth was great too , met scooter , so sweet ! Thanks for a great week !

This was our first time at the cottage and I can't say enough about how much we enjoyed our stay. The view of Nubble and the ocean is wonderful. The cottage is just as described in the listing, only better. It was nice to know Beth was just across the street if we needed anything, she is so nice and helpful. We loved it so much we booked for next year!

Very nice. All the amenities. Nice view of the lighthouse and the ocean from the back deck. Check in was easy. Walking distance to the beach and the restaurant the Lobster Cove. We are in our 70’s and found that lighting was a bit dim for us. We might bring our own lamp next time. We did not need either the air conditioner or the heat while we were there. The windows are plentiful and seal well. There is a bit of road noise as you are right on York street. Would rent again!

We had a great stay at the cottage! The ocean view (especially sunrises and moonrises) and salty breezes off the water were treasures. The cottage had everything we needed for an enjoyable and relaxing week.

The cottage was as pictured, well stocked with supplies and clean. The view is amazing and we loved sitting on the deck and being able to walk to the beach and explore the tidepools away from the crowds. Thanks for a great stay

Cottage was super cute and I loved the view from the living room window and back deck! Property managers (Beth) were very helpful.

Property location is great! Gorgeous views. We are older adults and this is not a practical place to stay. No comfortable chairs. Sofa at right angle to TV, so could not watch it easily from sofa. Sofa too soft. Only arm chair was too hard and small. Kitchen and bathroom were lovely. Dining table was nice. Just no comfortable seating.

This little house is a gem!
We had a fabulous three weeks in September at Vivian’s house. Everything was perfect — the house was immaculate, the beds comfy, and the view amazing. We loved sitting on the back porch watching the waves. What a great view of the Nubble! The few times we had issues (we had some problems with the washer), Beth responded immediately. It was hard to leave when the time came but, hopefully, we will return soon.

Chillin in York
My daughter and I spent a week in York on the ocean at the best little 2 bedroom cottage I’ve ever stayed at in 15 yrs of visiting York. So cute with a view of the ocean and Nuble Light. Amazing! A walk to the beach and tons of killer restaurants. I’ll be back next summer for sure.

We were able to walk to long sands beach. We traveled with our two teen daughters and we found the house to be comfortable and the property manager was incredibly helpful with any questions we had… including the girls wanting to pick blueberries from the backyard. We would definitely stay here again!!

Awesome, well maintained and the view is magnificent. Beth is a delight and very helpful. An 8 year old took surfing lessons, loved the beach, Long Sands beach “Arcade” etc. I walked 6 miles to Nubble Lighthouse. We loved having company from California, they were so amazed by the cottage and the location. Thank you for such a needed respite. Loretta McManus, Vermont.

The location was perfect - a nice neighborhood and an easy walk to Nubble Light (2 miles), York Beach (1 mile), Hartley Mason Reserve (1 mile). And an easy drive to many great towns.

Perfect getaway
The house and location were perfect. The house was spotless and the property manager was super helpful and checked in on us via phone to make sure we had everything we needed (she is right across the street which was great). We enjoyed every bit of our week long stay but the sunrises viewed from the back deck overlooking the water were breathtaking. I would recommend this house to anyone looking to stay York. Walking or biking distance to everything, including the beach.

Hard to find something with that view in this price range. Good sidewalks to walk to the Lobster Cove restaurant and farther to Long Sands Beach. Nice to have a full size W/D and a very helpful property manager (Beth) across the street. Lots of little thoughtful things like brochures and maps for local activities. If you're tall enough (5'7") you can see the ocean when you shower! With the ceiling fans and keeping windows open at night, we never used the AC (lucky timing not to have 90 degrees). We (3 women) absolutely loved this cottage and had all the room we needed. Mille grazie to the owners for making this wonderful place available.
