We were all fully happy with our stay there.

It is. It your typical hotel accommodation. It’s family owned and operated and they are attentive and care about you and the property. Very nice personal touches around. Plenty of space for my family because it was an apartment style with everything you need. Close to dining and convenient to the cruise port. Owner graciously drive us to the cruise port instead of us having to get 2 taxis. Botanical garden is directly out the front door.

the washing machine was not in the apartment, however the host was very kind and helpful and she did our laundry.

The location just in the center of the German colony, amazing. There is a nice patio in the property with space for the kids to play etc, so that was nice too.

The room was not clean, there were dust balls on the floor at the bedside, a black layer of dust on the airconditioner just above the bed, and dust all over. Better cleaning would definitely benefit the place.

The Maria guesthouse was a wonderful place to stay during the Christmas festival. I loved the location - it was just a short walk from the German Colony and Nisnas Wadi, as well as all of the local attractions. I appreciated the warm welcome and the care we received from the owners of the guesthouse. All in all, I would highly recommend this guesthouse to others and would stay here again without a doubt

Great location right across the street from the bottom of the Baha’i Gardens.

Contrary to room description the room did not have a balcony- only a small landing at the top of the stairs outside the door.
