The room was smaller than I expected. Bed was horrible.. it was so hard it was terrible worst I've ever slept on. Had a noisy group of ladies on the wine in outdoor area just outside our room they were rowdy till after 11pm which wasn't nice for us or anyone else trying to sleep.

Despite arriving considerably earlier than the usual check-in time, I was welcomed with warmth. Furnishings were very simple although the inclusion of a table from which to work at was very welcome. The bed was of sufficient size and comfortable.

From the name it has, one could be forgiven for the expectation of something greater than it actually presents itself as being. Its reviews, however, although perhaps a little higher than expected, possibly provide a more accurate picture. The room was quite basic and clearly made up from dividing a building that may have earlier provided accommodation for workers. It is abundantly clear that alterations have been made without any real effort to disguise them, which immediately detracts from any appeal a room may provide. Sadly, the surface of the table had sticky patches, suggesting that cleaning was not considered optimal. Despite a kettle being provided, no form of beverage was provided, which means that any form of refreshments a guest may desire needed to be self-supplied.

The location was beautiful and very peaceful. The owners were friendly and welcoming.

Amazing and surprising dessert room service Gourmet.

Charged $25 for 3 pieces of toast and two serves of coco pops. It was unclear if it was included or not and there where no prices or mention of a charge till the end.

Lovely quiet location, comfortable room with good bed and plenty of pillows, overall very comfortable. Lovely host.

Good situation in bush setting not far from Healesville and Healesville wildlife Sanctuary. Staff friendly and informative. We had dinner at the resort’s restaurant; service very good and food delicious.

Base level room acceptable, but another time I’d spend an extra few dollars and get the next level accommodation.

The location, the friendliness of the owners, the beds, the showers, the restaurant and service there, the area… nothing to complain about. I LOVE this place and everything about it. So pleasant and comfortable . Will DEF be back for my fourth visit

The Restaurant was excellent, the staff aka owners were welcoming and very friendly. The environs were as we expected and would suite family orientated stay.

Bearing in mind we were just emerging from Covid lockdowns the following comment will have a bearing on the state of the Resort overall. The Resort was a little tired looking, however, it looks as though the owners were in the middle of upgrading these. It would be nice to go back in a couple of years during Summer to experience the upgrades.
