Good location, kitchen decently stocked, good sized rooms

Host is a con artist. He took more than double the deposit allowed by Booking.com and then refused to give it back because he said we shouldn’t have paid so little for the rooms (we booked in advance on a good rate). He was aggressive and intimidating to us and in front of our children. We only got money back when Booking.com intervened. He completely ruined our weekend away. Avoid at all costs! Beds are rock solid, pillows are terrible and rooms are freezing cold, especially bathrooms

Very clean space, very nice bathroom, dorms where simple but comfortable, the living room is very nice.

The only thing I missed was s reading light fir the bed. But you can read really nice in the living room.

Exceptionally clean. Nice bathroom. Friendly host. I would stay here again if I ever come back to Bochum!

If you're a light sleeper you might want to consider bringing earplugs. It wasn't super loud but you can hear people in the stairwell if they're being loud. And the blinds aren't shutting out the light from the street lights/sun completely so if that matters to you, bring a sleeping mask.

Overall good and spatious apartment suitable for a group of friends/family. Perfect location.

The heating system takes too long to warm the whole place, only the bedrooms and the bathroom have heating. Not plenty of kitchen supplies. Big and fluffy pillows not very suitable for sleeping.

value for money is great, plus since the internet was not working the landlord did not charge the two kids (9 and 11 years old) who were with us

no internet and no easy parking place (during the day from 7:00 a.m. subjected to fee). The NO internet was a big issue given the corona measures when everything is CLOSED. The landlord mentioned that it was due to a connection problem but I doubt that Vodafone leaves clients without internet for 4 days! For this reason no-home office, no home schooling were possible (we needed to go around to find wifi connections because the Vodafone hotspot and Telekom are too wick to work properly). The landlord was NOT a gentlemen, we arrived at 19:00 after 10 hours driving and he did not give us the time to unpack our things, find a parking space that he wanted the 150 euro deposit or he would not live the apartment. The kids were terrified by this person. We will not come back because of him, absolutely not which is a pity given the location and the great price! Plus the apartment is not on the ground floor (which from the Fotos looks nicer) but on the second floor
