The helpfulness of the owner was great. We liked the pool a lot even in December.

Parking was very tricky but there's not a lot to be done about that.

Nothing about the apartment. The town is tranquil and quiet. It's near some of the cool stuff up north.

The apartment was freezing, like a fridge! We had to request extra blankets which helped but we still genuinely slept in our clothes, there are two tiny heaters that are a safety hazard and don't heat the apartment. The owner didn't really believe us and asked if it was colder than Ireland, the truth is, yes, inside the apartment it was. There was no water provided which we thought was a bit unthoughtful. It's normal for other places leave a bottle of water considering the tap water isn't drinkable. The owner checked us in quite late, at 930pm and told us we can't drink the water, would be easy to supply some like everywhere else, especially since we checked in late. Lucky we had some anyway. Lack of plugs and basic amenities. The shower is like someone peeing on you. We thought the apartment opened out to the pool but we were on the other side, there are 4 apartments sharing the space. One of the bedrooms has a window facing a shared corridor and the curtains aren't black out so when the neighbors were coming in late and turned on the hall light it illuminated the bedroom, just very disturbing. Beds not too comfortable. No check out instructions or final communication from owner. Not even a thanks for staying etc. Weird. Just disappointing. This is an honest review, no fabrication or lies. Surprised that it has such a high rating so perhaps we just had a terrible experience.

The bed and sheets

The host was amazing (she gave us recommendations of where to eat) and the room very comfortable and practical. It was also quite tranquil.

Clean, decent house in small village in the north of the island, far from noisy towns. Perfect for those looking for silence during vacation. Extremely kind owner.

The accommodation was clean, rooms were spacious, all kitchen utensils were provided and the kitchen was sufficient for a short stay. The accommodation was secure in that there was a spacious outside area for the children to run around which was locked by a main outside door to the road. There was washing machine facilities. The area itself is very quite, which is great and friendly. We used the local shop to get fresh bread every morning which was a 10 minute walk and tried the two pubs/eateries, which were very welcoming. Only approx 2 min drive to Haría, and a great location to see the north of the island. Masi was great and was on hand if we needed anything.

We could not fault the accommodation or location.

Very nice appartment in a great location. Children loved there was a swimming pool (although in was December). Two bedrooms was very nice so children could get up and let us sleep more.
