Richard und Marie-Claude waren hervorragende Gastgeber. Vor allem Richard war bestens informiert und hat uns die schönsten Sehenswürdigkeiten rund um Saint Philippe geschildert, auch die, die nicht im Reiseführer zu finden sind. Aber vor allem seine Schilderungen zum Abendessen und zum Frühstück waren ein besonderes Erlebnis. Die Zimmer waren gemütlich und sauber, die Aussicht grandios. Immer wieder gerne.

It has a unique charm, which we did not saw anywhere else on the island. It really is visible that the duo behind this hotel makes it a great place to stay. Regarding the location, it is fairly near to a very interesting sights (30 min by foot).

Very nice property, delicious food and a pleasure to hear the stories told by the owner and learn something from them about the history of La Reunion as well as the farm.

The property is located about a kilometre off the main highway near Saint Joseph. It’s set in the middle of the sugar cane fields making for a very tranquil and, overall, lovely setting. The hosts are very friendly and extremely accommodating. We arrived later in the evening and missed the dinner service at Pipin, but the hosts were quick to recommend an excellent place where we could eat and phoned ahead to ensure it would stay open and accommodate us. The room was wonderfully cosy and clean, and with screens on the doors and windows we could sleep with cool natural air flowing around the room. Breakfast was simple but filing, consisting of bread, coffee and tea with a variety of spreads. Of all the places we stayed while in Reunion, Pinpin definitely stood out as a place we would have liked to have spent a second night relaxing, going for walks and writing post cards. My partner and I would definitely recommend Pipin to any traveller and particularly couples looking for a nice quiet and homely escape.

The host is super friendly and helpful. Dinner is great, and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Would highly recommend staying here
