Lovely pool. Clean airy bedroom and bathroom. Hosts Vincent and Sophie were fun, helpful and attentive. Great continental breakfast. Relaxing riverside setting.
No complaints but a tiny bit basic.

Loved the beautiful and clean pool with a phenomenal view. Wonderful added value of 2 canoes to go on the river, beautiful garden, great breakfast and beautifully renovated rooms. Great and quiet place to relax
The lack of wifi in the rooms (only in common room) is a lesser point. Even if this is a great way to disconnect !

We booked a room at the property for 6 nights and we already want to go back! Sophie and Vincent put their heart and soul into running la Magnanerie and it shows in every detail. The garden is a real paradise, beautifully maintained. Perfect pool with beautiful views of the river. Nice that they have created several sitting areas on the property. The room was done to perfection and we enjoyed this very much. Also the breakfast was fantastic. Location perfect too! Thank you Sophie & Vincent for giving us such a warm stay! We will definitely come back!

A very friendly welcome from the owners. The surroundings are beautiful…..outside area comfortable and many places to sit/lie. Rooms chic and clean. Breakfast very nice. A restaurant only 300m away so ideal not having to use car and it is very very good.

Beautiful setting along the river. The huts were really well designed and comfortable. Sophie and Vincent were very welcoming and helpful during our stay.

Everything was perfect-- a lovely place on the edge of a river. The breakfast was large, fresh and convivial. The hosts were friendly, available and accommodating. We were just looking for a place to stay, but it felt like a special holiday.

Sophie and her husband were very nice, hospital an friendly. The location was stunning next to the river and we were even allowed to use their kano’s for free. Also made a new friend (albus the dog). The room was stylish and clean. The breakfast was also lovely. Would recommend!

Great breakfast and the location of the hotel is perfect, right next to the river!
Payment can only be done in cash or with a cheque, so no debit/credit card. The same goes for the nearby restaurant.

We loved everything about our stay. The room was tastefully decorated and comfortable, the grounds were well kept, the pool was stunning, the host was welcoming, the breakfast was delicious. Everything was amazing and exceeded our expectations. We brought our dog and they were very dog friendly, there was a big open space to let our dog run after a long drive. I would recommend staying at least a few days to really enjoy the surroundings and the pool.

-room looks a little bit less chic as on pictures
-i tried to have a bath and then wash my hair. There was not enough hot water. After filling the bath there was only cold water from the plumb. So i left hotel with the dirty hair
-you cant switch on light only in toilet. Light in the bathroom without wall will be turned on too. If you go to toilet in the night-other person could wake up
-you CAN'T check in after 21.00. In other hotels in France hosts allowed us to check in after hours, waited for en extra hour or left the keys somewhere. I planned this trip for months and this detail ruined all my plans for this day because we needed to check in at 21.00. (we asked for 22.00).

The apartment was beautiful and the place is really calm and cozy. We would love to come back for a longer stay.
