The place was tidy and clean and the mattress was very comfortable. We also enjoyed the garden while having our breakfast. Our hosts were very nice and welcoming. We recommend this place to anyone who’s looking for a place to stay in Medemblik.

We did not remember the payment was not automatically withdrawn by booking on our card. We had to pay on the spot which was unusual for us (but this is our mistake for not checking that before). Fortunately, our hosts were well equipped and we were able to pay by card (because we did not have cash).

My boyfriend and I were on a cycling holiday and we picked this location as our first stop. The annex was just to the side of their main property and was a decent size for the two of us. I was concerned we would be late and kept in contact with the hosts to let them know when we would arrive, which they were OK with. The hosts accommodated storing our bikes safely and breakfast the next day was more than enough to set us up for a long day on the bikes. Places to eat in the evening were just a short walk away and some were open until late.

We had a long day of cycling the next day and we wanted to set off early, we asked for breakfast for 8/8.30am, but our breakfast didn't arrive until 8.30-9.00am so we didn't get to set off until after 9am. It wasn't a major issue but it meant we left later than planned. Apart from that, everything else was great.

good location, not too far from the center of the town, friendly staff, the room has good facilities. the breakfast is excellent and you can use the garden if weather permits.

Perfect if on a Netherlands bike tour. Bike storage out of site within feet of our unit's front door. 150 yards from the LF bike path, as were several good Restaurants. QUIET area, good bed, excellent little kitchen and living room. Able to make coffee in unit, even before the breakfast was brought to us at the time we asked. (more than we could finish). An offer to make us a lunch to pack with!!!! Out of the direct setting sun, the unit was cool on a hot day.

Nothing could have been better. We will return if we are ever anywhere near this place in the future.
