Geweldig appartement op een schitterende locatie. Vlakbij Piacentro (15 min. lopen, 3 min rijden) en Sulmona (10 min. rijden). Hele aardige en behulpzame gastheer, heel gezellig. Gebruik van gezamenlijk keukentje en koelkast, wat echt een voordeel is. Tuin (met tafel om iets te eten) en zwembad helemaal top! Wij hadden het grootste appartement (80 m2), met goede airco in de slaapkamer. Door de dikke muren is het allemaal ook prima te doen.

The location is amazing, the Rocca is beautiful and very peaceful, and the owners are very kind and available to respond to any requests. We loved it and we will certainly be back!

The value was incredible and the owners take great pride in their incredible accommodations. The breakfast was the best I've had in my travels. The owners go above and beyond for their guests.

Room is adequate but not much room to move around. Bath towels looked and felt pretty old and worn out.

Beautiful mointain views, very nicely renovated rooms in a historical house. as a bonus a good pool with amazing views. The garden and surroundings well taken care and nice. Suitable walk to historic Pacentro village and a short drive to a small but nice Sulvano town. Host was very friendly and co-operative, breakfast tasty on a most fascinating terrace.

We liked everything

The owner of the hotel was super friendly and even collected us from the train station and also drove us to Sulmona on our last day. The place is just stunning, the pool is set in an olive grove and there are various comfortable seating areas, also in the shade. It's so quiet and the air is clean. As we didn't have our own transport (we travelled by train) we walked to Pacentro every evening to have dinner. Pacentro is a beautiful and friendly little town, a real gem. There are also some good walks that are well signposted. I'm very surprised by a few of the comments below of people who were disappointed by their room. The place doesn't pretend to be a five star hotel and the interior is simple but comfortable and excellent value for money. One comment was about the size of the shower ('the smallest I'd ever seen'). I really wonder in what world these people live in. Another plus was to be able to use the kitchen and dining area. We didn't actually cook ourselves because there are good restaurants around, also in Pacentro, but it is a nice touch that you can and also handy to have a fridge at your disposal. Breakfast was very pleasant too. All in all, a very nice stay!
