The host is fantastic. We’ll be back some day !

We arrived and Mr. Altino was already waiting for us, kindly and thoroughly showing us the whole property and making us feel confortable. The room was big for the whole family (we had chosen the 4pax room), clean, with amenities, aircons (that we didn't use this time) and on top with an amazing view. Casa Terena has a relaxing vibe and you can tell by the things are decorated that you can just relax. The breakfast was good, eggs, juice, multiple types of bread and cereals for the youngsters, about everything you could ask for. The checkout was easy and sad as we would love keep staying.

Bar facilities for a drink at the end of the day would have been perfect. I understand this was the case before Covid

Next to a church wich bells ring every half hour.

Lovely place in small village, almost attached to a castle. Makes you slow down and enjoy Portugal. Friendly host, sharing local stories. Great Portuguese experience!

Lovely house, super friendly and accommodating staff, delicious complimentary breakfast. Easy access to lots of activities and different towns (there's a vast assortment of traveling books and leaflets with suggestions in the house). The swimming pool is a great plus on hot days (and nights!)

Beautiful house for art and antique lovers, and a very friendly host! The location next to the castle and the bell tower in a typical Alentejo hilltop village is excellent. We got a tip from the host for a local restaurant that we loved to dine in. The breakfast was very good in Casa de Terena.

Everything was great.

The host is enthusiastic and knowledgeable about the area and family property which is stunningly beautiful and very tastefully furnished.
