I pretty liked everything ! If you stay there on a week day, the hotel is pretty empty and you can enjoy the different pools (there are 4!) and the sea and beach almost alone. The staff is very nice and the food of the restaurant is good (I would just advice to privilege more “local” dishes like every plate that involve tortillas because they taste way better than the pasta dishes for example). The service is quick and at any time of the day, the cocktails are also nice and served in big portions. The Wi-Fi is really good and works in almost all the property. They also propose a lot of activities, kayak, surf boards and surfing classes (that are a bit pricey though) and ATV rental. I would definitely recommend this place
Nothing really, but if I need to be picky I would say that it would be nice to decrease a bit the surf classes price so it’s accessible to more people (even though people from there probably already pay way less). That there is no one to survey the sea and/or the swimming pool, especially on crowded day (weekend because some people come here for the day), would be something I would have definitely worry about if I’d have children. Also it’s not always super clean everywhere because there are some dogs that aren’t aggressive at all but that pee a bit everywhere, especially on the seats next to the swimming pool, and because it’s the beach (everyone know how hard it is to get rid of the sand). But I would say all of that are details and advices for amelioration, no complain here.

close to the beach, not too busy/felt “off the beaten path”, helpful/nice staff (a few spoke English), AC worked great, for the location it was pretty cute and they did a good job with what they have all things considered, they offer tours and lessons (kayaking, surfing, paddle boarding, etc), pools were nice and clean, they provide plenty of free bottled water which is great, linens and towels were nice and clean-smelling, overall - for the location, this is probably the nicest you will get
it was not mentioned that we would have to drive a few miles down a bumpy/rough dirt road to get there, food was kind of expensive and just okay, beach is full of trash (not the hotel’s fault of course), room was pretty dirty (ie you need to wear shoes inside because the floor is dirty) and the drains smell awful (likely can’t be helped due to the location)

The best hotel option in El Hawaii. Great pools and friendly staff. Pet friendly, which is a huge plus.
The beach is manageable, unlike the dangerous Monterrico Beach a few kilometers up the road. Lots of activities (kayaking, surfing, horseback rides, atv rides, etc).
The hotel's restaurant (Habaneros) is your only real option, due to the remote location. Somewhat expensive, but the food is good. The cocktail drinks are hit or miss.
The lewd, sexually suggestive reggaeton music in Spanish they play on weekends by the main pool is loud. Great for a party hostel, I guess, but not suitable for a family hotel.

The food was really good and the staff was friendly.
It was a long drive, the place was in construction when we arrived, I've made my reservation ahead of time through booking.com, I've submitted my kids ages, and everything was fine and I was given a price in the website, once we were there, and they saw all my kids they insinuated that there were gonna be an extra charge because for the hotel my kids were considered adults., obviously I wasn't happy with that plus the room that was assigned to us wasn't what I was expecting, so I had to pay for an upgrade.

The property has great areas to enjoy the great weather, the beach area, three swimming pools at the front, another one at the back. An area with hammocks and an outdoor gym. The food was great and the staff couldn’t be nicer!

The privacy, only 1 or 2 other rooms were there when we were. The weather was great.
When I arrived , the guy in charge at the desk said you can only stay in the villa 2nts and the 3rd night would be across the street in a 1 bedroom. Having 7ppl I said no, we'll stay just 2 nights then. Then he said ok but proceeded to charge me 2000q more than the booking quote. I accepted it as I really don't speak Spanish. A while later I told this to my guests , they said that's not right. So they must have gone back and given the guy an ear load. He the approached us in the restaurant at dinner and said he had worked it out and I'd be refunded the difference between his charge and Bookings.com quote. He said it was the Booking .com that was the problem.

The food was alright but it could have been a bit better. I don´t mean it was not but for example the fish could have been fresher and for breakfast pancakes could have had different butter, mermelades and honey.

I loved everything during our stay! Staff is superb! Royalty treatment hands down! What a great team of people who work at this wonderful location! You will leave this place wanting to come back multiple times! 10 stars for everyone! The manager is full of love and does his job with true passion, always looks to make guests feel like at home with family! We want staff to know they made our stay heavenly!

The breakfast was delicious, but you should just order it off the menu and not ore-pay for it because then you are limited to only one choice. The hotel is right on the beach with a beautiful river at the back of the location.
