great location. very nice balcony, mostly covered from sun overlooking the caldera. Gorgeous views and in the center of Oia. Perfect place to be in the middle of the action but at the same time avoiding the tourist crowds.

little water leaking from house outside, so when we walked from outside to inside ended up tracking wet feet and some dirt into the apartment. could use a little more room inside each of the bedrooms, but this is expected with the tight quarters in the cave houses.

Amazing view, very convenient location. The apartment is very clean and comfortable. Elizabeth and the guys who work with her are very friendly and polite, note 1,000! I strongly recommend staying here. Thank you for everything.

The help that the host, Elizabeth, gave us by picking us up from the airport and taking us to the ferry port made the stay so much easier. The view is amazing with a great patio area. Close to restaurants and shopping. Overall, a wonderful stay.

The only thing we can say is the walk to the entrance is down a concrete path by other cave houses, and if you have mobility problems it could be an issue. This was not an issue for us, or wouldn't be for most people. Oia is not a town you want to stay in if you have mobility issues.

The location was good.

Outdoor seats were stained and wet. Ants in the kitchen area. It took a very long time to fill the tub with hot water as the hot water tank was small. It was a major hassle to fill if we wanted a warm/hot bath. We constantly had to boil water to help fill the tub.

The most memorable and wonderful things of this place are: 1. the scenery (though you cannot see the sunset here but the views are breathtaking) 2. it's quiet and comfortable at night and day, without the concerns of having too many visitors going nearby the place and making noise 3. Elizabeth is one of the most friendly people we met in Santorini. She responds to messages real quickly and is happy to entertain whatever requests we may make 4. though there are stairs between the cave house and the main street, the distance is not long so you can reach the main street in less than 3 minutes A few things to note: 1. The TV is not working 2. The house can be a bit hot in daytime but it's okay as you will probably walking along the main streets or going somewhere else at that time 3. it could be troublesome if you have more than 2 luggages. Although the nicest Elizabeth can arrange people to help carry the luggages down the cave house, it is not so possible for anyone to carry more than 2 luggages down the stairs and slopes - so be considerate and bring not more than 2 luggages

Elizabeth was fantastic and helped me check in as well as transport to and from the airport. Highly recommend, her and her husband are warm, welcoming and super friendly!

The view is nice. You can see the sunrise. The heating is adequate. The staff Elizabeth has been most helpful.

The apartment is very competitively priced. But what I liked the most is the staff. Elizabeth, who manages the property, is one of the nicest people I have met around the world. She made sure that I would have an enjoyable stay. she and her husband came to pick me up and then took me to the airport on my departure. I highly recommend using their transfer service because they are very reliable. it would be nearly impossible to find the apartment on your own. Mateo, the porter, was also extremely helpful. I shudder to think how I could have carried my luggage up and down so many steep steps. The apartment is very quiet. The AC works well and is basically noiseless. There are many excellent restaurants nearby. Elizabeth recommended a few and I tried two of them. Both were fantastic and reasonably priced.

The view was unbelievable! Opening the front door to the beautiful view of the water was incredible. There were a lot of steps to get down to the apartment (to be expected) but the property managers could not have been more helpful! They carried our bags for both arrival and departure. I can’t say enough good things about the communication and service with the property manager, Elizabeth and Mateo.

The steps were definitely difficult, especially while carrying small children, so if people have trouble with steps they should stay closer to the top/flat main path.

The location, charm and accommodations were fantastic!! We enjoyed both sunrise and sunset from our porch along with iconic views of the caldera.

Wi-Fi was weak but manageable, and there was a damp smell in the bathroom (perhaps from older plumbing?) but didn’t detract from the overall stay.

Wonderful hosts made this stay outstanding--we would have had a lot of trouble handling our luggage and finding the property otherwise, but they came to meet us when we arrived and let us leave our luggage briefly after checkout so that we could continue to explore. A short walk to the sunset and a perfect sunrise from the balcony!

Slight septic smell in the bathroom, but that's to be expected on an island. We didn't end up using the jacuzzi as a result.

An inbuilt dryer with the washing machine would have been fantastic. Provision of umbrellas or raincoats especially during winters. 3 pin adopter was much missed

It's a perfect accomodation. The host Elizabeth and her husband and Mateo are wonderful people. They help in every possible way and accomodate requests to the extent they can. The property is one of the best to have breathtaking views of caldera. Family friendly and great vibes of cave house

Where to begin, how can I put in words how truly amazing our stay at Menias cave house was. First I’ll talk about location. Oia is the classy more high end part of santorini. I like staying in Oia during the weekdays and Fira on the weekend. At Menias cave house you are right in the center of the prime of Oia and luckily the stairs to the house were very easy and simple to deal with. Anyone that would complain about the little steps you have to take to the cave house, does not understand the beauty that is santorini. The location is away from the hustle and bustle of the town which is right above you and surrounding you. You have an out of this world view of the Caldera. You can watch the sunrise and sunset on your own private and spacious patio with seating. The pictures of this place really don’t do justice to how spacious and great it is all around. 2 bedrooms with a big bathroom and fully equipped kitchen and living space. It’s rare to find a place in Oia with so much space. I got comfy and literally felt right at home here. We were even able to wash our clothes and hung them outside, it felt very authentic and made the experience that much nicer. It’s a very very safe place. You get so much value for your buck, this place is worth every penny or Euro lol I would literally pay double the price and be overly satisfied still. The best part of this stay were the people who took such good care of us from begin to end and beyond! Communication was very easy. Elisabeth contacted me days before my arrival to check on anything I may need. She provided transfer from the airport to the cave house. Elisabeth was so helpful and informative and we had a great car ride with many laughs which adds to the priceless grand experience they provided us. We were helped by Matheo when we arrive to Oia and he had the best spirit, he was a joy to have. He accommodated us with anything needed and took the best care of us.
