Plenty of activities for the family. Lots of space for the kids to play. Enjoyed the pool ,when could use it (11-3pm only) . Great views, house was great and
Theres a beautiful winery 2 min up the road for woodfire pizzas and wine.

The pool is not at Waikare Cove as the photos make you believe. The pool is the owners next door and your allowed to use it between 11-3 only. We hired the property because of the pool so this was a bit of a let down. The images you see are from their balcony not the property you booking like it looks.
11-3pm is times your likely out and about so kids couldnt swim when we got back , we planned on kids swimming lots whilst we relaxed by the pool so felt a bit decieved by the property profile.

The outdoor and games facilities were good and aimed at children’s enjoyment. The number of bedrooms which suited our extended family.
For accommodation that could sleep 10, one shower was inadequate. A shower for the upstairs bedrooms would improve things vastly. Being asked to vacuum and strip beds at the end of our stay - hence it’s not getting a thorough clean.

The property was nice and roomy and suited our needs perfectly. The extras like the spa, table tennis and use of the pool were great. We ran out of time for kayaking but the option was there. The gardens and views were lovely.
A shower upstairs would be handy and an automatic light in the upstairs hallway as I fell down the stairs in the pitch black trying to fumble for the light switch. A couple of fishing rods would also be great.

Loved the location and the house! Clean and tidy, beautiful homely feeling.. plenty of space. Will definitely be back for longer next time!
Only down fall was we couldn't use the pool after 4pm. We went here specifically for the pool😔.. Sorry family of water rats😆

Absolutely loved the place!!! Definitely did not want to leave. The accommodation is definitely better than what it looks like in the photos. At first I was abit hesitant about coming here but once we showed up, we fell in love with the place instantly!!!. It has the best views, best facilities and the spa is so amazing!!!. Would of loved to use the kayaks but weather wasn’t in good conditions. That’s also another reason why we loved the house, we stayed for two nights and both days and nights it was raining but we had plenty of things to do at the house. Room with the deck was just beautiful and the different rooms were great. Definitely recommend coming to stay at this place and we will definitely be back!!!. Everything was perfect and I met Kathy, she is such an awesome person and definitely a kind person ❤️.
