Great place, friendly staff, great location, clean.

Franklin and his entire family is working hard to make your stay a good one. They're very friendly and help you with whatever you need. The location is great, and the hostel is beautiful. Many plants and animals to discover.

It was all fine!

The swimming pool

The room was extremely hot, at least 10 degrees more than the outside area. The wifi was not working in the room and during the night the bed sheet kept moving so I slept on the bare mattress, which was also quite uncomfortable. There were used soaps in the toilet, one of them full of hairs. The shower did not have enough water coming out so they took out the main part. The fan was full of dust. You don't pay much, but I kept waking up in the night for the heat so definitely not recommended.

Super super nice staff, great outside area with hammocks, good WIFI, the food they offer was very good, comfortable beds, fan in room and spacious bathroom.

Nice and clean room. Nice garden to chill. The location is very remote. During the day you can walk to the centar but in the evening not really. Lots of animals. .

I used their taxi (2 person taxi) to get to ferry. I was solo and they gave me a price. In the morning one more person was sharing taxi with me but the price stayed the same so I didn't like that.

Simply great :-) the family is super lovely, help you with everything and ride you around the area for little cash if you like. Rooms were clean and comfy and very quiet at night. Lovely gardens, kittens, puppies, cows, pigs and kids :)

Food was good (and vegetarians options if you ask), the family is nice (and the animals too :D) and it was a good price for the place.

Beautiful setting!! Loved the hammocks and chairs outside each room! Excellent wifi, and family was soooo kind. We ate dinner there each night, and they were very accommodating with my vegetarian diet and when I wasn’t feeling well. We loved our stay!

The room, too hot and extra small, without any comfort. For that price was acceptable. By adding a new person into the same room the hostel doubled the price - found this a bit greedy as approach.

Everything was super nice!

Very nice pool and garden. The rooms are simple but clean and there’s everything you need. They have talking parrots, dogs, cats, deers, cows and chickens. So it is basically a family run farm guesthouse. The grandmother is super nice and cooks amazing food 🙂

They close the reception and kitchen vey early but since it’s a family run guesthouse then it’s understandable. Just ask what time they close so you don’t miss the dinner if you plan to eat there.

GREAT VALUE! Highly recommend staying here!! The pool was amazing, the property was in a great location- just far enough out of town that it wasn’t too hectic but also we could get into town in less than 5 minutes on a scooter. Franklin picked us up from the ferry for free and brought us to his Hostal. It is a gorgeous property with lush, cared-for greenery and lots of animals- cats, dogs, parrots, pigs, cows and a deer. We felt comfortable asking for anything we needed such as recommendations for eating, reliable scooter companies, and the calling of a tuk tuk. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

The only thing we would have loved was a place to refill our water bottles with filtered / jug water. Even if it were tallied up during our stay and we paid for it at the end, the option would have been nice!

Everything else was excellent. The owner was exceptionally helpful in arranging our hike / tour for the day and laundry. Beds were very comfortable. Hammocks were excellent!

Location was a little out of town (20 mimute walk).
