it was a good value balance of comfort and price. prices and quality were consistently as good or better than other properties close by - for room and restaurant.

they really should clean up the beach - or provide guests with mesh bags to help with cleanup of the Tracy that washes ashore. maybe offer a free drink or snack for every bag of trash collected.

The location of this place was great . Right on the beach , was able to walk out the front door and within couple steps get food and drinks and sit out by the lawn chairs in the sand .

The ac stopped working middle of the night we think maybe it froze up or something . We turned it off for a couple hours then restarted and seemed little better

Terrible overpriced food and drinks. I guess the most expensive on this stretch of beach (so with that of the island). Especially the owner was not hospitable and the personel spoke poor English. The place was a dump with a lot of trash around and an unkempt garden. The bed was poor but good enough for a couple of nights.

Do not book here this place has been shut down for over 3 years but they're still collecting money and taking it from people

I don't like that booking.com wouldn't do a single thing when I called them about this issue they said they couldn't do anything

Yu Yu is really passionate about making sure her guests enjoy their stay - her staff is her biggest asset! they are simply all marvellous and include locals and pets of all sorts - can not say enough good things about her beach BBQ fish dinners!

it took a while to get used to the Thai toilet protocols - but once mastered all was good :)

Road would be a problem in the rainy season. My Thai wife complained about the head of the bed towards toilet, first place we see that in Thailand. Okay but would not have booked if i had seen it beforehand. View room is nice with a small lake and mountain with trees but there is rubbish in the water which is not nice!!!! Lady at the reception is very friendly and helpful even explains everything in Thai as well as English!!

Yuyu Goldenbeach was just the best! the room felt extremely luxurious for such a low price, with views of the lake, and the gorgeous, clean, almost empty beach less than 20metres from my front door. The entire place is extremely well kept and the restaurant and bar had amazing food and great coffee. The staff were all wonderfully helpful and the owner Yuyu was so friendly and accommodating. I cannot wait to stay here again!

It was all fantastic! The only thing I would say is, in order to get around you do need to rent a motorbike as the island taxis don't run as often during low season, so it can be slightly more difficult to get around. Personally I loved that though

New bungalows not far from the beach.

Balcony door wouldn't lock and when we told the manager she said they were waiting for someone to fix it which didn't happen and we asked the manager if we could have our room cleaned and she said yes but that didn't happen either.

I arrived at Yuyu golden beach and was instantly made to feel at home, all of the staff were friendly and accomodating, I was given an upgrade to my room which I greatly appreciated, during my whole stay I was made to feel so at home I did not want to leave, the food was amazing!! (Try the pancakes and the curries)! The food and drink was amazing and at a discount, the views were splendid, it may have been a little walk into town so come with plenty of baht so you dont have to go into town to find an ATM, if you do it's a 15 minute walk but with views like these you won't want to leave even for a second! As I said its lovely and remote so you feel like your in paradise!

I loved everything, the staff were so nice! People may say it's a little off the beaten track but I find alot of people find that to be a benefit! Like being on your own paradise island.

Lovely host, lovely stay, close to the beach and waterfall. Would really recommend to stay here.

Everything. The location is amazing. The owner and staff really made you feel welcome and did everything to make your stay enjoyable. We had a beach front cabin which was fantastic . The beach is private and very clean. The food was very good and they have western and Thai food.The price of the room was excellent value for money. I cant wait to come back and highly recommend YuYu Beach resort.

Only fault was it was hard to find due to lack of signs. The staff were painting new signs today to put up.Problem solved .
