We have stayed in this property already three times. The staff is very nice, restaurant on site serves delicious authentic food (make sure to book a table for dinner!), insect nets in the windows, spacious parking available, nice and cozy rooms with modern bathrooms. Great atmosphere.
Poor wifi connection if you are staying further from the main building. No A/C in the rooms.

Beautiful room and bathroom. The whole property is gorgeous. Having dinner in the beer garden was amazing. The staff was so friendly and they go out of their way to make you feel special. Like having a table reserved with your name on it. The breakfast was great as well. Wish we could stay longer than one night.

Overall a wonderful experience. Great accommodation, very clean, comfortable, quiet and spacious rooms, very friendly staff, excellent breakfast and a great restaurant option directly on the premise. Also travelling by car made easy due to large car park directly in front of the hotel/restaurant. Close to a grocery store in case you want to get some drinks or snacks.
WiFi coverage was in some areas of the premise mediocre, for families with lots of luggage or elderly people having no elevator in the guesthouse might pose a mobility challenge.

Good hotel, located in the country in the region near the Bodensee. There is also a simple but good restaurant in the hotel.

very nice hotel at Ravensburg, new, silenced and clean rooms in a new building. Also a good restaurant with German dishes. I was there at the beginning of August, and also without the air conditioner the room was pretty cool. Suggested at 100% from my side

The room was comfortable, the bug nets on the windows and balcony door was a huge bonus.
The onsite restaurant is also worth a visit (and booking a table for the evening)
A slightly better coffee was the only thing that could be improved.

What an amazing welcome. The hosts at Gasthaus Amboss were fantastic. Our car broke down in Switzerland, overheating going up the San Bernardino Pass, making us very late. They very kindly made up some amazing food served up with beer and drinks when we arrived. The rooms were fantastic.

Excellent and plentiful breakfast, with the choice of eggs (in my case a delicious friend one). Superb restaurant with a fine selection of beers - what else could one ask for!!! Quiet and very clean room.

For someone looking for an excellent down-to-earth and upright, middle-class inn. You don't have to look any further, here it is. It won't get much better. Nice clean rooms, friendly staff, good service.
It's only a pity that the otherwise excellent Swabian home-style cuisine only offers take-away at the moment. I don't like to have meals in my hotel room. Never have been a great fan of room service, and never will be. However, COVID will not last forever, and I am certain there will be plenty of opportunities to enjoy the restaurant.

Very big room with big balcony. We had a room in the corner and a balcony on 2 sides of our room with a great view. The TV could be watched from the bed or turned towards the sofa. The bathroom is up to date with a rainshower. Wifi signal is good.
No breakfast buffet due to Covid-19 but everything we needed was served at our table. The restaurant is also very good and you don´t have to wait long to get your meal. The staff was very friendly and helpful.
There is also a possibility to eat or have a drink outside while the kids play around on the playground.
A big parking place is available and for bicycle enthusiasts there is a bike rental and repair shop available.
We can only recommend this place.

We were very happy with the spirit of kindlynes and by attitude of the staf. As an extra we can mention the correctness of the financial staff . They telephoned us about a mistake, They will return an overpayment.
Dec 31 there was a blackout on the TV. It was repaired next morning..We were expecting to feel more of the atmosphere of the Bodensee but in the winter season there is no sightseeing or other boat activity on the lake.
