Everything was just fabulous! Very spacious house, and the real bonus is the multiple terraces with the awesome views in all directions. I think this house must have better views than others close by as it is slightly higher and has unimpeded views all along the valley and out towards the sea, while also giving complete privacy. There are covered areas for shade, open areas for sunbathing, and a big bbq area. The owners are such lovely people and so welcoming! and they even gave us a very generous welcome pack with wine, fruit etc. The house is supplied with everything you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The beds are really comfortable, and we slept really well. The location is really great - it's only a couple of minutes drive to the port and the beach, but you also have hiking right on the doorstep. We hiked up and back to Era de Berbique, and visted Los Berrazales vineyard (easy walking distance from the house). Thankyou Jose and Maria Rosa!

The property is situated in the Agaete valley with stunning views of the valley and down to Puerto de las Nieves, from where there is a regular Fred. Olsen fast ferry service to Tenerife. Tenerife can be seen clearly from the property on days with good visibility, even when it's not so clear the top of Pico del Teide can often be seen hovering above the clouds. The owners Jose and Rosa are a really lovely couple for whom nothing is too trouble. They met us at the villa with a wonderful welcome pack and Jose spent time telling us of places to visit whilst we on holiday. There were also all the consumable essentials you would have in your own home (too many to mention).

Amazing views of the valley from the terrace - including views to the sea and Mount Teide on Tenerife. Peace and quiet of location (other than sundry farm animals in the distance). Sheltered spot protected from most of the adverse weather conditions that can be found elsewhere in the north of the island. Well equipped kitchen, with many basic supplies provided, and a welcoming bottle of wine and bowl of fruit. Extremely welcoming hosts, who made lots of suggestions for places to go, and provided many touches to make our stay more comfortable. Tasteful decor and comfortable seating / beds - and (contrary to some of the older reports) the wi-fi access was excellent, having recently been upgraded. Lots of places to sit outdoors, including sheltered terrace, sun loungers, and the separate 'barbecue terrace' (with - it turned out - a well-functioning barbecue). Several nearby places to visit, including coffee/fruit/vineyard plantations, an ancient burial site, and the seaside town of Puerto de las Nieves.

Nothing really, but the access road within Urbanizacion la Suerte was a bit rough in places. Access to the property is via lots of stairs which might be a problem for people with mobility problems.

The landlords welcomed us warmly and provided us with everything you need to know about the island. Also a fruit basket and a good bottle of red wine were part of the welcome. We felt really welcome and in good hands. The house is really grandly situated, the view is stunning and the house is very well equipped with all the amenities you could wish for. We recommend the accommodation in any case and would very much like to come back.
