House is in a great location. Close to lots of wineries and Warren Dunes park. The house was very clean and had ample supplies in the kitchen and plenty of spare blankets and towels. The property manager is also on site if needed but we had no issues. This is a cute place to stay!

It was the 4 of us staying celebrating 2 Birthdays. This home was perfect. Very clean and with everything we needed. We used the hot tub and the yard was beautiful landscape in a quiet neighborhood. The Host Hilary was quick to answer any questions. We would rent again from her.

Wonderful stay at this property. As others have mentioned, it is very close to interstate and train tracks. They were background noise within a few days for us. I love Warren Dunes and could still walk there from the property. Both the manager and the owner were very responsive and comfortable to communicate with.

The home is very spacious with a large kitchen and living room. Lots of beds. The outside space is perfect with a lovely deck and outside seating on the deck and around the fire pit. The hot tub is a huge plus! We spent as much time outside as we did inside! Very clean and comfortable. Close to so many beaches and hiking. Warren dunes especially. We found very little noise from the train or highway. It was actually very peaceful. We had a nice relaxing reunion with our older kids and it was lovely. Great location. Wonderful hosts. Very private. Highly recommend.

Home was amazing!

This worked very well for us! The owner was very responsive and helpful with communications ahead of time. When we had a couple of questions while we were there, it was very handy to have the property manager so close and available. The house was great… Large and clean, with a very well equipped kitchen! It was a wonderful advantage to be only two minutes away from Warren dunes Park, so we went back-and-forth frequently. Thanks!

We came for wine tasting and girl time… this place was perfect for that. House was decorated very cute and beds were comfortable. I feel like it would be a great place for families too. Can’t wait to go back.

It was a fun time. Lots of trains. Bathrooms are a little small. Only things they were slightly negative.

We had such a great experience. They had everything there (dishes, pots and pans etc). The place was extremely clean. The jacuzzi was very relaxing. Few things ( very minor) the plug ins .... Headache city and it would have been nice to sit outside during the rain, but there's no cover. Other than that would highly recommend this place.

The picture doesn't do it justice! Clean, bright, modern, beautiful furnishings. We lacked nothing! Instructions provided were friendly and concise. Hope to return next year.

Enjoyed our stay in Sawyer with extended family. Close proximity to the beach and wineries. Hot tub was definitely a hit!

We were looking for a location close to Warren Dunes and we got it. Within 5 minutes in car you are at the beach. 20 min drive tp Saint Joe, 5 minutes from Hardings Supermarket. Awesome farmers market just over on Sawyer road. Home was spotless and well amenitized if that is a word. Spacious kitchen with everything you need to prep, living room, extra sunroom, dining room off kitchen, huge deck for entertaining. We used the hot tub daily. 3 bedrooms up one down which worked. Upstairs bath is a little tight but if needed kids used the big one on main floor. Did not use lower level or upper level living area. adequate parking, manager on site was nice she lives next door and is pleasant and helpful. Comfortable and clean. It is on a major road and you can kind of hear hwy 94 in distance. A little train traffic, but I love hearing them come through and it is not a nuisance. So if you are looking for absolute peace and quiet maybe not a fit. But we loved the place. Recommend Galien River County Park for a short little fun trip to the marshlands, of course the Dunes, Navajo bar and grill... If you like microbreweries plent of them. Grab a chicago dog from the street vendor in Saint Joe right in the middle of Main street. I always have 2! Good luck with your choice and trip!! We would rent it again.

My family and friends stayed in the house. We really enjoyed the deck and hot tub when we had down time. The property seems to have everything we needed and we liked the house. Very happy with our stay.

There were 9 of us ( two in Pack N Plays) The location great, the house very comfortable and handled our group well. It was very clean and provided lawn toys and games for kids and adults, and The. hot tub was enjoyed by all. A great place to stay. I highly recommend it!

Location was perfect for access to St Joseph and beaches. The kids loved the large driveway and yard.

The home feels like it is actually lived in and had everything we needed (unlike some short-term rentals which are "fancy" but furnished with no regard for every day living). I especially loved reading in the morning on the patio and soaking in the hot tub :)

This VRBO was everything we wanted and needed it to be. Affordable, clean, spacious, comfortable, great kitchen, hot tub, working internet/washer/dryer, large yard for frisbee throwing, plenty of parking, country road nearby for our runners. Within 15 minutes drive we found multiple beaches, paddle and bike rentals, restaurants, and groceries. Warren Dunes was just a mile drive away. Of the four bedrooms, one is downstairs which was useful for those of us who have trouble with stairs. The owners always answered my messages quickly. We would consider returning! There were a few things that made it slightly less than perfect that I will mention for anyone for whom these issues matter: 1. The interstate and an active railroad line were close enough that the noise was noticeable when we were on the back deck. It was not intrusive, but neither was it a secluded experience. 2. The basement had a damp odor and there is no door separating it from the rest of the house, just open stairs. It did not trigger our allergies, but it kept us from using the basement space. The rest of the house did not have the odor. 3. The sliding glass door did not slide easily, and those of us with arthritis could not close it. This was a problem because we used the door a lot to access the grill, deck tables, hot tub, and fire pit.

This house was prefect! It was very cozy, and the hot tub was a big hit! Due to the grill not being cleaned, it caused a small grease fire, but other then that I would highly recommend this place!

Great host and great stay! Listing was accurate and perfect for our sibs weekend. Hilary was available throughout our stay and was also extremely helpful with giving us points of interest as well as local eateries. We had a small issue with the cable which Hilary quickly responded to and rectified. She also gave us a discount for this minor inconvenience (which wasn’t necessary but very nice!). House was great for us. It was peaceful and quiet and seemingly remote while actually only a short drive away to multiple restaurants and local breweries. We loved the hot tub! Overall a great host and stay!

We had a wonderful time in Sawyer at this awesome house. 7 moms and everything we wanted at our fingertips. The hot tub was a hit!! We didnt have to do anything extra for this home to make an awesome, no mom-ing, weekend IN, EPIC!

Wonderful property, well located, responsive owner, five stars!

Our family loved staying 4 nights in this comfortable, clean house. It was so close to the Dunes which the kids loved. Also close enough to enjoy downtown New Buffalo and even a day of outlet mall shopping in Michigan City. The property owner and caretaker were both wonderful and responsive. We would definitely come back!

This house was great as a home base for us (family and friends in town for a wedding weekend!). The house was very clean and tidy. Which allowed us to easily set up pack & plays for our toddlers, utilize closet and cabinet space, etc. Hilary & Patti were easy to communicate with. They were both very available in the instance that we had questions or needed anything in the moment. Great house. Great location.

We loved the hot tub and there were great amenities. The dining room and deck table were perfect for our group. The only problems we had were some of the burners didn’t work on the stove and there were some stink bugs in one of the bedrooms.

We enjoyed this home very much. It was an easy, convenient, and comfortable stay, and would book it again.

Hillary was great to work with and the property was nice. It is close to the highway but with the windows closed and air conditioning on it was fine.

We chose Sawyer for our 4th annual family vacation . The rental property was perfect for the 7 of us ( one night with 8) . The house was very clean and spacious. We enjoyed the deck and the hot tub. We explored: the Sawyer and went to the Round Barn , Greenbush Brewery and Journeyman Distillery . The highlight of the trip was the Warren Dunes and spending quality family time on the beach of Lake Michigan ( so close !).

Stayed here over weekend tatted rehearsal dinner at Journeyman Distillery and wedding at Tabor Hill Winery. Greg central location between the two. Took advantage of location to walk Warren Dunes State Park beach.
