The apartment is perfectly situated in the old town centre close to bars supermarkets markets and the bus station. The beach is 10 mins walk past a lovely tropical park. Higuitos is a large apartment, well equipped, very light with good air conditioning. We hope to stay again thank you.

Ruim licht appartement, prima bed en ligging aan het leukste pleintje van Almuñécar! Fijn contact met verhuurder. Leuke restaurantjes op het pleintje midden in het centrum en dicht bij het strand.

Alles prima in orde. Nespresso koffieapparaat zou fijn zijn (ipv filter koffiezetapparaat)

I was really happy with my stay and Marzena the host was excellent. The apartment was very clean, ready to use and there were plenty of evert day supplies. Great location to some amazing eateries and downstairs, there were 2 great little bars/cafes which served up awesome everything. The one directly opposite opened very early so great for early morning coffee. Quiet spot but very central to everything and the cooking facilities at the apartment are excellent. I'll definitely be back one day soon. Thanks Marzena

nothing to be honest. all good. The stairs to the first floor can be a little tiring after a while but to be honest, it was no big deal and the locals were extremely friendly.

Nothing. It was extremely difficult from the start, as no response from owner as to what time to collect keys, until I tried to cancel it, as not driving 9 hours and not being able to get in. As booking.com have been worse than useless am disputing it via my credit card.

I think I was the first person in after the lockdown was eased and it showed, given that most of the other reviews are positive. But it hadn't been cleaned for months. Filty dirty, spent the first night cleaning, up all night, had to get my mother to come and help me it was so bad. Broken glass under couch. Mop and bucket were stuck to the floor. Bedding was used and not washed, ditto towels. Quilts and pillows smelled of BO. Impossible to contact owner. She did not respond to copious texts. No wifi, no sat TV, as advertised. She finally texted me to ask for a photo of my passport. Said no, for security, she then proceeded to insult me and ask if I was afraid of the Spanish police, among other things. I had booked for seven nights, left after five as there had been no electricity for over twelve hours, insulin going off in the fridge, no lights all night, etc. The owner then sent me rambling inappropriate messages via the booking.com messenger, despite me constantly saying, let booking.com sort this out. However, zero response from booking.com . They are only interested in positive reviews, so they get their commission.
