Heater was not functioning, no wifi

- The location was idyllic; I couldn't have asked for anything more. The aesthetic appeal alone warrants a visit. - The room was beautifully decorated and well-maintained, and the bed was very comfortable. - The food at the restaurant was delicious and of incredibly high quality. I'd be only too happy to eat there again. - The lady with whom I engaged during my stay was very friendly and approachable. The gentleman was nice too, aside from one strange encounter.

- When I approached the gentleman (presumably one of the co-owners) and asked for an extra towel, he escorted me to my room and asked to see the towel I'd been given. When I showed it to him, he unfolded it and told me it was sufficient for one person. I explained that I wanted an extra one for my hair and he gave me an exasperated look. I told him it was a standard request made by guests at many hotels and that it shouldn't be a problem. Before marching away, he reluctantly agreed and told me he'd return in 10 minutes. A short while later, the lady (the other co-owner) knocked on my door and asked me if I needed an extra towel, which was strange since the gentleman had obviously informed her about the situation. I repeated my original request and he began muttering something to her in Polish. All the while, I was standing there wondering why on earth they were making such a big fuss about giving me an extra towel. I'd never experienced this kind of situation at a hotel before. It seemed as though they were trying to cut costs at every juncture, which isn't a good look for any hotel. In fact, such practices typically taint a guest's experience and leave them less inclined to return. - Although it's not a strict expectation, it's generally customary for hotels to provide complimentary toiletries. There weren't any in the bathroom. - Breakfast wasn't served on Saturday morning, which I thought was a shame. I would have liked to have given it a try, given the quality of the evening meal I'd had the night before.

Beautiful, clean place. It smelled amazing, like a flower garden. The service was exceptional and the owners more than accommodating, they make you feel better than at home.
