Très bien placé proche du centre ville
Se sont des cabines donc je ne m’attends pas à de grands espaces mais la chambres manquait de luminosité et d’aération cela sentait le renfermé. La salle de bain commune est vraiment très étroite. La dame n’était pas très causante…

Le logement est idéalement situé, proche du centre de La Fortuna, restaurants, supermarchés et autres activités.
La chambre est propre et dispose d’un frigo. Le ménage et le lit sont faits chaque jour.
Possibilité de régler la chambre par carte bancaire sur place.
La zone est un peu bruyante le soir/nuit.

The owner was very friendly and helpful. She helped me with laundry. The beds were super comfy. Great value. I loved the wooden cabin style room. The location is perfect. Highly recommend if staying in La Fortuna

Location was good, close to Main Street.
The room was spacious.
First off, on booking.com there are photos of a
kitchen and nice common area, this apparently is
not at the property, but at a property 7 km away.
Not knowing this we asked the staff/owner, and she
became very rude and aggressive. She then
proceeded to tell us she was sending someone to
get our keys, and we could just find a different place
to stay. We ended up talking to the staff she sent,
and explained we were simply asking and we didn’t
want to move last minute, we would be fine for just
2 nights. She seemed to be laughing at us in a
mocking manner, and it made us quite uncomfortable.
The following evening we found a massive cockroach
in our room. The A/C that was supposed to be in
the room was just a fan, that didn’t help much.
also the bathroom was so small, we had to sit
sideways on the toilet to be able to use it.
Overall there are much better places to stay in La
Fortuna, and we would not recommend staying here.

Location is great. It's in a quiet area, but it takes only about 5 minutes to walk to the mainstreet. Place is very clean. Friendly staff. Wifi was working perfectly. Hot shower was awesome!

Everything was fine, room was comfortable and clean. It is near to the bus station and to the main square. The area looked safe even after dark. I recommend this place :)

It was cheap
One of the beds in the twin room was completely broken so the mattress had a huge dip in the middle. We both had to share a single bed in a hot room.
The ceiling fan broke for a few hours before fixing itself which led to us being quite miserable and tired after a hike

Really friendly helpful staff, they helped us with some washing when we arrived and were very welcoming. When we left we forgot our charger, plug and adapter and they very kindly posted to our next hotel. location is also very close to town and the rooms are really clean and comfortable would definitely recommend

The cleaning lady was very friendly, the owner tries to help you. The check-in was uncomplicated
No possibilities to sit somewhere, no kitchen and the room was a bit dully. The owner has the motto "Why easy when it could be complicated as well?" For example we had to pay for the room not at the accomodation, but on a random souvenir shop in the center. Also when we booked one day more we had to change in the morning in another room and in the afternoon in another room as well. Good price but we didn't feel so well there.

For the value of money we paid I would say we were totally satisfied. The most important - beds, were very comfortable. Wasn't hot or cold, shower is very clean. Laundry service is cheap and fast. Place is very close to city center, walking distance.
But the total gem of this place is, of course, Lupita - best host ever! She was soooo friendly and helping, such a great person and companion, she was giving us all of the advice we needed, we had amazing conversations every morning, even though it was in Spanglish :) And we loved her sweet dogs! If only all of the hosts were like her.

We can highly recommend this place in the center of La Fortuna. Our room was very tidy and clean, so was the shared bathroom. The lovely host Lupita is very helpful and welcoming. She also offers laundry service. Worth every penny.
