Cara Bonifato was like a home from home. The owners are so generous with recommendations for the local area, restaurants, things to do etc. we followed many of these and had a great time. They also supplied some fantastic food for arrival and so much food and drink even catering for our young child. They went over and above! The pool is perfect, great size and had some shade all day. we had a fantastic stay and would recommend Casa Bonifato over and over

There was no aircon but the building stayed quite cool so this was ok

The house is amazing! I would give 11 out of 10! We are traveling a lot, and this house is so far the best one. Lovely decorated, with lots of details. Large and quiet private space including fantastic view, large pool and garden outside. Fridge full of food and fantastic welcome meal and wine prepared for us. And a list of great tips what to do around and where to go. Thank you so much!!!

This is a beautiful place to stay and great place to base yourself for this side of the island. We stayed for 10 days and it very quickly became our home from home. We had such a warm welcome and were greeted with a lovely selection of homemade local dishes that lasted us days. The cupboards are stocked with all the essentials to keep you going too. We had tips on where to visit and followed these to get a great tour of the local area. We even had pastries popped down for us and a lovely leaving gift on our last night. They are a genuine and kind couple who want you to feel totally relaxed and comfortable in their home. They have worked so hard to provide a beautifully decorated place to stay. Even though the owners live upstairs they are really respectful of our privacy and we had the pool and sun terrace to ourselves and well as another seating area. It's a 5mins drive in town or just a 15 mins walk that we did a number of times. This is a fantastic place to stay and cannot recommend it enough

Nothing not to like this is a beautiful home from home

The property is beautifully presented and very clean. When we arrived Domenico gave us a thorough orientation of the property and Nina had laid out a wonderful spread of local Sicilian food that we were still eating for dinner the following day! The cupboards and fridge were also well stocked so there was no need to go straight out to buy food or find restaurants. We received a very useful tip of the day, which really helped us make the most of our time and see some of the best sights in the region. Domenico and Nina were otherwise very respectful of our privacy.

You will definitely need a car, but parking is easy. The apartment is on the lower level, so there are some steps to negotiate if you have any knee, hip or general mobility issues. However I’m sure Domenico would help you with your luggage if that was your only issue.

Magnificant hosting couple; super hearty welcome and fair well. Great rooms, perfect to relax and prepare for meeting or as base for excursions. It is home away from home and even better ;-) Special thank you for guiding me to the meeting with my luggage and the great food! Can only recommend to all who are tired of hotel stay overs and have bad experience from B&B Maravilloso, Mille Gracie!
