The location is very advantageous, whether you are taking a bus to other places or finishing your trip in Bath, it is very convenient! The host is very welcoming, the items are well prepared and considerate, and the breakfast is very rich and delicious! Although the room is slightly small, it is very comfortable and the temperature is just right！

Location, location, location

Tired, needing maintenance. Just not what today’s travellers are looking for. Toilet seat not fixed to pan, shower thermostat faulty, window blinds do not meet safety standards, etc

location could not have been better, moments from the car park and close to all the sights. Christina was the most wonderful host, all instructions were clear and she was so flexible and accommodating... and the breakfast was delicious.

La moquette e la poca pulizia nella sala della colazione. Piatti, bicchieri e posate poco puliti e tutto aveva odore di uova. Basterebbe passarli con un panno pulito e un po’ di aceto bianco o vodka naturale. Lucidano, disinfettano e mandano via qualsiasi cattivo odore.

It was really easy to find, the host made sure we were comfortable and happy. The breakfast was lovely, there were lots of different foods to chose from. The room was great, it was comfortable and perfect for a short trip away!

Easy access to the building, our room was ready early and we were able to leave our luggage there after check out. The host was lovely and breakfast was amazing!

Location was good. Lady serving breakfast was very friendly & a credit to the establishment. No owner present when we booked in so were sent a code. That's where the good points end though - room was poorest I've stayed in with Booking.com due to its unbelievably tiny size & childsize twin beds, which are not reflected in the advert which describes room 8 as Standard, not Small & shows artistic colourful photos for the rooms.

My 1st ever negative review on Booking - Tiniest room we've ever stayed in - attic room 8 on 3rd floor - we were not made aware of the tiny size when booked via Booking. Although some double rooms were advertised as 'small' this Standard Twin room 8, was not, yet it could fit in only 2 childsize twin beds ie 2ft/6in wide and they were also shorter than usual single beds. Our feet hung off the end. One twin is pushed alongside window so has condensation dripping on it as well as the sloping ceiling all along & above it. The room is too small to have it away from the sloping ceiling/window. No seat to sit on apart from one tiny wooden stool under the tiny bench holding the kettle. So would have to watch TV sitting on the tiny beds. Electricity to plug in chargers etc was a dangling extension lead. As it was a Sunday night there were quite a few other places we could have stayed for this price of £116 but we went by photos which, for first time ever on booking, I thought did most definitely NOT reflect the room we were given. No refund would have been possible as we'd already paid & as we arrived in the dark other places were by then, booked. Beware i would not recommend room 8 Standard Twin room.

Lovely host, very accommodating, fantastic location for seeing Bath and especially for the Christmas market. Breakfast was fantastic, she made us a full vegan breakfast. Parking is literally at the end of the road. Station is minutes away, so superb location

Nothing we didn’t like. We visited in the very cold weather, and as a typical Georgian townhouse it’s a little draughty and the large bathroom was very cold

The room, like the entrance was clean and well kept, as well as being warm and well equipped. Christina was very helpful answering my queries before arriving and hosting us during our stay. The breakfast was excellent with quality produce. After leaving an item in the wardrobe, Christina was quick to return it. Will be staying again during our next visit to Bath

The room was cold when we arrived. However it was freezing outside and there was a convenient electric heater in the room which heated up the room quickly.

Great location within walking distance of all the Bath attractions. Room was dated but clean and comfortable. The breakfast included with the room was delicious (full English breakfast with fruit, croissant, cereal, hot drinks and orange juice). Staff was helpful and welcoming.

We come from a warm climate country so not having the heater on throughout the night meant we got cold in the night.

Très bien situé proche gare et centre ville. Chambre et literie très confortables. English breakfast très bon et généreux dans les portions. Accueil très sympathique. Je recommande vivement !

Fabulous location and delicious breakfast

The location just 5 minutes from train station and central to all that Bath has to offer. Breakfast room and breakfast delicious and plentiful and cooked to your liking. Christina was a wonderful host. Very clean and everything presented well When I left early and wasn’t able to have my cooked breakfast Chris left me a prepared pack to take on train. Out the front door and within minutes from everything to do and see. Very quiet street and no noise in the room

Unfortunately , with the amazing old 1700 building and the experience it brings steep, windy stairs to room a challenge - with baggage.

The location is great, just a long block from the Bath Spa railroad station and a block or 10 from the center of the older area of Bath, the Roman baths, and lots of great shops and restaurants. The bed was comfortable, the room cozy, and the breakfast was fantastic.

Well my room was on the third floor (4th floor in America) with no lift, and my bathroom, while ‘private’ was across the hall. I dealt with this by leaving my large 45 lb rolling duffel on the ground floor and made do. The hostess said that this situation was clearly stated in all the promotion but I didn’t recall that but it all worked fine so if you can adapt the place is worth it.

We loved staying so close to the Roman Baths and all the local attractions! Everything was within walking distance. The room was comfortable and so full of character. Christina was such a gracious host who cooked a fabulous English breakfast and was very helpful in tours to take, one being the Mayors Walking Tour (Free). Would definitely stay again if we ever return to Bath!!

No reception, keys were left on desk. I didn’t see a member of staff at all. Had to leave 7.30 for work and breakfast didn’t start until 8.00. The bathroom was outside the room on the landing.

What a perfect little find this guest house was. The location couldn't of been better. It was 5 minutes from the train station , very close to the centre but also very quiet. The room was clean and very well equipped, with a lovely view too. The bed was was extremely comfortable and we both slept very well. The breakfast was superb, about 4 courses of delicious fruits, yogurts, muffins, crossaints and a cooked breakfast. The staff were friendly and helpful.

There was nothing that we didn't like. The stairs are quite steep, so if you have mobility problems that could be an issue .

The Henry was in an excellent location for exploring the centre of Bath. The room, a twin, was well proportioned and the beds and bedding very comfortable. Excellent big bathroom and lovely fluffy towels. We enjoyed the breakfast very much, fresh fruit and tasty hot food, cooked to order.

Christina looked after us very well. She arranged an early breakfast so we could get to a meeting on time. Car park very close by if you can get a space. We did. Very short walk to town centre.

Perfect little guest house. So close to the centre of town. We found it very peaceful and just so quirky. The photos up the staircase made us laugh alot and told such stories. Christina was just so welcoming and accomodating. Breakfast was outstanding 👌 the scrambled eggs 😋 best scrambled eggs ever 😋 We would so come back and we can't wait to get in touch with Christina to see if she was correct for when we find out the gender of our baby scan soon 😁💙🩷
