The apartmemt was very spacious and very clean. It was modern and comfortable and well equipped. Parking was available ( but tight) which was very useful around Cochem. Beautiful view over the roof tops of the castle, town and Moselle.

Unfortunately for non smokers, the smell of cigarette smoke was easily detected coming from the private parts of the house. There was no lift to this top floor apartment. 10 steps up to the house and a further 34 stairs to the apartment.

I liked the location very much, everything thing was so clean, and the view was so beautiful.

Facilities were not so good, I was sitting on the chair when I was about to fall! Chairs must be repaired. The owner doesn't speak English, so it was a little bit difficult to ask for anything you need. There wasn't a shampoo or a songe to clean the dishes, and when we asked, she couldn't understand. Bed wasn't so comfortable.

Cleanliness, near to main town, property was very spacious.

The cleanliness of the apartment was exceptional. It is a spacious apartment that takes all upper floor. The kitchen well furnished, allowed for preparations of breakfast and lunches. The view of the castle and the town, across the river, is spectacular. A 15-minute walk to the old town.

Parking at the house is exceptionally tight; with a larger car, it left 3 inches on both sides for an error. The house is located next to a street that gets busy and noisy in the morning, although is rather quiet for the rest of the day. Initially, it was difficult to receive a response from the host. She should have added in her property description that she lived at the house and it would not be a problem to pick up the key.
