Sehr schönes Haus, genau wie auf den Bildern! Wunderbarer Garten mit Blick auf den Ozean. Direkt am Portugiesischen Jakobsweg. Vermieter sehr sympathisch und hilfsbereit. Wein, Obst und Teilchen gab es als Empfang . Da wir spät angekommen sind, gab es sogar auch alles für das erste Frühstück! unglaublich fürsorglich. Wirklich sehr zu empfehlen!

The location was exceptional. Jose was the most amazing and welcoming host. He had thought of everything that one would need in the accommodation. A beautiful place.

And the host exceptional went out of his way to help me, drove me to town picked me up from the train station, took me back to the train station and into town to get groceries,left me a bottle of champagne for my birthday just an all-around excellent place to stay if you’re looking for some peace and quiet

I loved everything

We like everything. José is an exceptional host, who has quite literally thought of everything, the little house is very well equipped and beautifully laid out, decorated and furnished. We had use of his wonderful and immaculate garden, which has some fabulous plants. The off road, gated parking is a great facility as well. His folder of information was really helpful and the welcome sign was a very nice touch. The location is excellent, tucked away from the main road but close to the beaches, the wonderful coastal path, the supermarket and petrol station. We will be recommending this little gem to our friends and family and will most certainly stay there again if we are in the area in the future.

The owner is a very thoughtful host and extremely accommodating. The cottage was in a beautiful location; great views; beautiful & peaceful garden and very clean inside. Everything is provided for. WiFi is working well. Very comfortable bed. Close to shops, restaurants and beach. We had a fabulous stay at Casa do Chafariz. Thank you Jose for being a superhost.

The only thing that was a bit of an issue was the change in water flow in kitchen and shower.

Everything was lovely from the little welcome gifts to the facilities

Having looked for self-catering accommodation with easy access to coastal walks we found Casa do Chafariz to be absolutely perfect.
