Guter Ausgangspunkt für Safari in den Udawalawe Nationalpark - nur 15 Minuter entfernt. Sympathische und freundliche Gastgeberfamilie. Sehr nette Begrüßung mit Tee und Kuchen. Der Sohn bietet Safari-Touren an und kennt sich generell gut aus. Leckeres Frühstück. Abendessen wird auch angeboten. Zimmer einfach aber sauber.

Haus etwas außerhalb und für Restaurants oder Ähnliches muss man mit dem Auto fahren - für uns keine Problem, weil wir mit eigenem Auto unterwegs waren.

Super endroit au calme. Accueil avec jus de fruits frais excellent ! Grande chambre avec climatisation, moustiquaire et eau chaude. Très propre, super literie, oreillers moelleux.( On a savouré car juste avant, on en a eu des durs qui cassaient la nuque !) Plaids individuels pour dormir, le petit plus pour le confort. Le meilleur rice and curry du Sri Lanka. Un festin chaque soir. Petits déjeuners excellents et très copieux. Sheran, le fils de la famille, est aux petits soins et a plein de belles attentions. Nous avons fait avec lui un safari magique. C'est un très bon guide, calme et attentionné. Venez ici les yeux fermés ! Il nous a aussi vehiculés, au prix d'un tuk tuk, pour aller au Éléphant transit home et nous a attendus pour nous ramener. Plein de balades à pied sympathiques en pleine nature autour de la guest house. Bref, nous recommandons à 100%.

Un hébergement au calme, un peu loin de tout mais tenu par une famille très sympathique. Très bons dîner et pdj après un safari agréable géré par le fils Sheran.

Moooom! 🙂 I'll start with her, because her cooking is so delicious that I must admit that after 3 weeks in Sri Lanka, I have never eaten such good food anywhere else as here! 👍 Really 🙂 Large portions and there's even beer available, and it's all at a reasonable price, so there's absolutely no point in looking for food in the area. The owner Sheran has his own off-road vehicle and arranges everything for Safari. He speaks English very well, which is useful when we meet some animals, because he talks beautifully about them, and not all of these drivers do that! Nice room with a clean bathroom with hot water, air conditioning and everything you need. I highly recommend it! 👍

Sheran et ses parents nous ont accueilli comme à la maison. Petits-déjeuners copieux et dîner très bon! Chambre confortable, spacieuse avec eau chaude. Le safari avec Sheran était super, il nous laissait le temps de bien observer les animaux et nous expliquait des choses intéressantes sur la faune et la flore. Il est passionné! Il a l'œil pour repérer les animaux. On recommande ce logement et le safari avec lui, pas besoin de prendre un guide en plus sur place.

Great experience at Pearl White House. Very close to the Uda Walawe National Park. Sheran wasnt there but his parents took very good care of us and his friend for the safari. The breakfast was good. Amazing value for money.

The mother excels in cooking and welling wants learn new ways in cooking as well .

Great hosting from the family. Great location for the center and elephant orphanage. both within walking distance. The son runs is own safari around the reserve at a good price,very knowledgeable aswell,showing us lot of elephants.🐘♥️

The dinner, while very good, was rather expensive in comparison to our previous experiences in Sri Lanka.

The host and his family were very welcoming and overall extremely friendly. The food was delicious. The offered safari was informative and Sheran (host+safari guide) was knowledgeable about all the animals in the park. He also drove closer to them than other drivers. Overall a very nice stay + an insane safari, would come again!

Maybe one thing that could be improved: In the night we saw that the bedsheet was moving and we laid almost on the mattress. A larger bedsheet may be nice ;)

Sheran and his mother are just lovely. The food is amazing so we really recommend you to take your meal at the house. They played a lot with our kid which was so nice. You can also book your safari directly with Sheran for Uda Walawe, we had an amazing experience.

As the other comments say, it was a pleasure being here. The hosts are so nice, they will help you with anything you need. You absolutely need to try the food here (dinner, breakfast), it’s the best food we had in Sri Lanka Sheran did us the safari in the National Park, it was great, and he is such a cool guy. I hope we’ll have the chance to come back there or to see again elsewhere!

The place is very comfortable and quiet, we took diner and breakfast there and it was very good, also we went on a safari and all was very well organized. I recommand !

The Family was very friendly. Sheran was our Host and Safari Tour Guide. He took much time for us and was very helfpul. The breakfast was delicious. The room was big and very clean. There is also a chill area outside the room. Perfect stay for Safari in Udawalawa! This was for us the best accomodation in Sri Lanka!

Sheron was very helpful and always available. His mother makes excellent food. The brunch was copious and delicious. Sheron took us on the safari where we stopped many elephants and got really close to them.

Very nice Family! Sheran speaks a very good English, and his mom is a great cooker! Always ready to help, we could borrow bikes and plan a safari with them and it was perfect! Truly recommended to spend your time in Udawalawe.
