Nice little room in a safe compound, surrounded by a large beautiful garden, stylishly and tastefully decorated with ethnic touches. An oasis of peace and a real delight for the eyes. Adorable lady of the house, sparkling, friendly and a joy to talk to.

Accommodation is in a house and the hostess is very attentive and kind. Great breakfast and the property is very pretty with a beautiful conservatory and garden. Located in a gated complex with secure parking. Supermarket near by and easy access into town centre on main road.

Loreto was amazing with do much attentiveness and kindness. Beautifully decorated guesthouse and superb rooms. I can recommend Casa Emiluz. What a memorable time.

Breakfast each morning consisted of fruit, bread, and juice, which was certainly adequate. The wood-burning stove in the dining area felt really good on a winter's night after viewing the total eclipse. And the complimentary wi-fi worked perfectly for me.

Lovely friendly people, family home, comfortable bed, powerful hot shower, pretty garden and a full length mirror. An authentic experience.

Far out of town and in an area that seemed quite industrial, so I had to get buses/taxis/colectivos. Extra cost and perhaps not the safest idea for a single woman at night. Bathroom smelled rather damp. Expensive. Almost £200 for 3 nights!! There are lovely places in central La Serena for a fraction of the price e.g. La Sombra del Viento. Booking said the property would contact me before to transfer payment, but this didn’t happen. Stressful when departing as I had to catch a plane, but they couldn’t take payment by card, there was confusion about bank transfers and I didn’t have the full amount in cash as it was a lot and I don’t feel safe carrying that much cash - either at home or abroad. So a family member drove me to cash machine to withdraw more money. Helpful but this again cost me more (withdrawal fee) and made me anxious about missing my flight.
