Comfortable apartment with nice view in good place. It's cost each cent!

The location and the outdoor facilities

Great view but not near the sea, you need a car The apartment had a tremendous view over the bay of Cannes, a good terrace where you could seat 6 people and and the sitting room was well equipped with a small but ok kitchen

There was no aircon in bedroom which was very hot and the aircon in the sitting room was noisy Our blind in the bedroom fell off and the host accused us of deliberately damaging it rather than shoddy workmanship. We were told that we needed to pay for the repair or vacate the apartment half way through our holiday. We paid 50 € for the repair but no one came to fix it. The apartment also had a leaky shower, no Wi-Fi and a tiny toilet which many people probably would find hard to use. The host also says that the apartment is 400 meters from the beach. It’s actually over a kilometre, also if you want to buy something from the shops you need a car as the nearest supermarket is a 8 minute drive away.

The condo has a beautiful view as promised. It was stunning day and night. The lanai was spacious and private, and a great place to relax and have a glass of wine. The grounds are lush and full of flowers. the infinity pool overlooking the Mediterranean Sea is gorgeous and a good temperature. There was no charge for the chairs at the pool in late June. The condo was extremely clean and quiet.

This property is not walkable at all. You really need a car, even though it is close to Cannes. The roads leading to the property are very steep and winding and it’s a long walk to the nearest bus stop. Cabs and Ubers were very expensive and hard to get (at least during the busy time we were there). There is no shuttle service to Cannes offered. Only 4 towels provided for a 4 night stay (2 bath towels and 2 beach towels) though 4 more provided when asked. Only one roll of TP provided. No bottled water, coffee pods or laundry pods provided. It would have been nice to have a few of these items ready for guests upon arrival. No shelf in shower for soap/shampoos. No closet/hangers to hang up clothes. Toilet is awkwardly placed in a very small closet next to laundry machine. The restaurant was closed.

We really enjoyed our stay at Villa Francia. The apartment was well presented, well equipped, with a fantastic view from the terrace. We would definitely like to visit again in the future.
