We loved sitting on the deck in the morning watching the river and were close enough to downtown to walk to coffee, tacos and a swim. Immaculately clean and very charming.

We had a blast staying here and used this property as a great "home base". We ran around all over the hill country knowing that we had a nice quiet place to come back to. The river front is nice and the property is well kept. We did not use the kayaks or river toys, but they were easy to get to and use if we wanted. It is very centrally located in Kerrville with easy access to lots of activities.

Great loft, great proximity to the parkway and river. Easy access to downtown. The biggest drawback is the neighborhood. Otherwise we had a great time and enjoyed our stay.

Starting off by saying we have already booked our stay for camp pickup next year! The loft is right on the river and the kayaks were just right for paddling down to the city park swimming area for a dip in the afternoon and the morning. Also, we saw about 6 nests with fledgling heron/egret/crane - don't know enough about birds to know which they were - but it was neat to watch. The loft was well laid out, had board games, everything you'd need in the kitchen, and the bed was comfortable. Can't wait to come back next year!

Terrific place! Attention to detail, inside and out. Extras like gas grill, Mayas, River viewand access. Great seating by the River, on the patio, and our upstairs deck! Well outfitted kitchen. Nice decor. Great landscaping. Private entrance and deck from the main house. Quiet and beautiful. Rubin was a great host.

Relaxing, peaceful, romantic, couldn't have asked for more. Lee and I always enjoy the loft. Great weekend getaway from Houston with all necessities and more provided, wine is a romantic touch!

Really enjoyed staying here. Was close to everything and I was able to jump on my bike and ride the river trail. Apartment was very clean, cozy with very nice grounds along the river. Bed was very comfortable and sitting outside on the deck really nice. Certainly recommend this place.

This was perfect for our one night stay. There was an event in Kerrville that made staying at a hotel impossible. We cooked and watched college football, and enjoyed the view. All necessary items were provided. Perfect stay!!

The apartment was perfect. It was nicely furnished and included all the amenities. Robin did such a great job of including all the little things. We got caught in the rain one of the days and had to do dry some of our clothes in the dryer. We enjoyed the river and fished off the dock. We even got to meet the family staying in the main house and chatted about our travels. I would highly recommend staying here.

Such a sweet peaceful retreat
Such a great property, second time to stay here and it was just as pleasant as the first. So convenient for camp pick-up in Hunt! Mom and dad get a break before picking up campers! Fabulous place!!! Robin is a wicked fast communicator too! :-)

Kerrville gem
Loved the location, the great backyard, river and hiking trail access, kayaks and bikes. We rented the main house and the upstairs apartment for 9 days in June 2022 and loved it. Our second visit, and we will be back!

Amazing river front apartment
Robin’s place is amazing! Located right on the river, extremely clean, with cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Very quiet too. It looks even better in person, than in the pictures. Close to downtown, cool antique shops and restaurants. We will definitely want to come back!

We enjoyed our stay here so much. Beautiful spot on the river, and within walking distance to the farmer’s market and several restaurants. Robin thought of everything in outfitting this apartment.

Gorgeous property and views!! The loft apt. was a perfect place for a quiet getaway!!
We had the opportunity to meet the host (Robin) and her husband John. They really take pride is this property and make sure that their guests have all the amenities necessary for a wonderful getaway!! I will definitely recommend this place to others...5+ Stars!!!

Relaxing Spring Break
This was a perfect little space for my husband and I to get away the last half of our Spring Break. Being a teacher, I needed the peace and quiet this sweet place offered! The loft supplied all you would need at a home away from home, including literally the most comfortable bed I've ever slept on...my personal bed included! The view of and access to the river is great; my husband fished as I sat on the Adirondack chair and read and people watched as they canoed or paddle-boarded down The Guadalupe. Would give more stars if I could!

Our first visit won’t be our last
We loved River House! Robin thought of everything. Firewood, paper, and lighter? Check. Bikes AND helmets? Check. Kayaks, extra paddles, and plenty of life vests in various sizes? Check, check, check! I didn’t need to pack extra towels or bbq tools because our host had us covered. A wonderful surprise was waking up to birdsong and watching a family of ducklings while sipping coffee out back. The view of Tranquility Island and close proximity to the hike and bike trail made our getaway complete. We loved Kerrville, and we will return!

Peaceful stay
Beautiful view, great place for a relaxing getaway. The apartment had everything we needed and the central location was so convenient. Walks on the trail especially enjoyable. We did not take advantage of kayaking or fishing…..maybe next time! Also Robin was highly responsive and the place was immaculately clean.

This is a super place for two....cozy, with a cushy bed, squeaky clean, with nice touches and amenities!!! And then there's the river view...wow....I only wish we'd been able to stay longer!!!!

Pleasant getaway
Well kept loft (efficiency) unit. Comfortable with great views of the river (watch the wildlife) and close to the river trail. Host kept in touch and was very quick to respond to messages. The neighborhood looks a little tired from the street side but back yard and river front are beautiful. Park/Island across the river with walkers, joggers (and we rented bikes) Walked downtown without any trouble. It was cool (45 degrees F) so we didn't use the water toys but the setting would be great when it was warmer. This part of the river has a dam so it is constant level. Would stay again.

Peaceful
My husband and I really enjoyed our stay. We celebrated our 15th anniversary and loved it there. It was nice and quiet and we definitely will return. Very clean as well and comfy bed and pillows. Thank you Robin!

Incredible place on the river
This lovely, stylish apartment has a fantastic, unbeatable location on the river. We used their kayaks to explore and had a peaceful, beautiful excursion right off their dock. Very helpful, sweet host.

Wonderful property

A hidden gem!
We thoroughly enjoyed our couple of nights away at the tree house. It was exactly as pictured maybe even better & cleaner. Our morning kayak was so nice. The amenities and all the added touches felt like a home away from home. We will definitely be back! Thanks Robin for having us! Everything was perfect!!

Perfect apartment, perfect location!
We joined our daughter and her family here and had the best weekend! The property owner was so helpful and has a beautiful home with everything we could possibly need! The location on the river is amazing and I only wish we stayed longer! We can't wait to come back!

Wonderful Weekend Getaway
This loft apartment was so cute! So clean and lots of natural light with amazing view of the river. A short walk through the backyard and you have access to kayaks, tubes, bikes and wonderful scenery. Robin was very accommodating and thought of everything when decorating this space. We will be back soon!

Very cozy little place! Everything you could ask for when getting away for a few days. Lots of "little extras" included, like bikes, and kayaks. This place is very clean, close to many things and the host is very attentive!

The peace we needed!
Such an amazing quaintly peaceful and clean place for hubby and I to stay and just get away from the chaos. We’re already planning next years visit to do it all over again! Highly recommend-so delightful!!

A few perfect days of Texas summer
This place was exactly how it looks in the picture. Whether on the porch, patio, firepit area, or down by the dock, there was a lovely view and a cool breeze off the river. It was easy to get in and out, and there were plenty of options available for river activities or just plain relaxing. We had a beautiful time, and saw a bunch of wildlife (mostly from a distance, except for a very inquisitive duck). Robin was great, and answered questions promptly. A refreshing break from city living!
