The fact that the lodge had 5 large rooms and a nice roomy sofa with all the home comforts meant that every need was catered for. No hidden charges or extra costs and the lodges are in a nice quiet area.

There was nothing that was an issue at this site. The property is very cleverly laid out and spacious enough for the 5 of us who went on the holiday. You would need transport available to visit anywhere further than the town.

Loads of room for a family get together. Clean and comfortable, a home away from home. Loved the location, very relaxing break. Great communication with the host.

Nice place for our purpose.

The owner Bill was in touch within plenty of time and made sure we had everything we needed for a lovely holiday. The deer at the bottom of the field visiting us every night was an extra bonus 😊

Great base for discovering the surrounding areas, so convenient to the town, everything close at hand, shops, restaurants, pubs, swimming and beautiful walks in the woods and castle area. Lodge was very spacious and comfortable. Also enjoyed the nice slow pace of life, very relaxing.

Very dark entrance into the lodges at night and roadway could do with re-surfacing.

Great location, very central and spacious. We were a group of 8 adults & 1 baby, all bedrooms were spacious and living room good space.

The house was not very clean. Floors and bathrooms were grubby on arrival. Need larger fridge as the house has capacity for 10 adults. Additional dining chairs would be good (only 6 provided and house is for 10). Outdoor/patio furniture would be a bonus in the nice weather. Bins were full on arrival
