Fantastic location, even more fantastic host.
We had a great short stay with the family and couldn’t have been happier. The property is a very nice flat in a beautiful 16th century building and had all you need. The host is just lovely and surprised us with a mind blowing breakfast. Thanks!

The property was in the perfect location. Spotless. and the host and breakfast were generous and perfect.

This is a truly historical 16-th century building, so it was a very interesting experience. The rooms and the shower are squeaky clean. The breakfast was delicious, with lots of different breads, sorts of honeys, nuts and fruits, and an amazing assortment of cheeses. The location is fabulous, you’ll be just outside of the old town, a 5-minute walk to the cathedral, but outside of the tourist hustle and bustle. The hostess is wonderful, she even helped us to find and book a restaurant open on a Sunday, which is not a trivial task in Strasbourg outside of the tourist season.
Two things to keep in mind: three flights of old stairs and a small bathroom, which is understandable given the space limitations of an ancient building. If you are a large person or if you have a heart problem, this might be slightly challenging for you. Otherwise, you will have a wonderful experience in this house.
Thank you, Natalie, for your kind hospitality!

This property was stunning! Imagine the top floor of an historic building with windows overlooking the canals and historic quarter combined with warm hospitality and the most phenomenal breakfast we have ever been offered. The host has a warm, artistic style reflected in the beautiful houseplants, varied lighting options and curated art. The location was so convenient but being on the top floor, it was so quiet and we slept so well.
This wasn’t an issue for us but guests should be aware that while the top floor is very private, it is accessed through the hosts own home. Please also be aware of the stairs — the host so kindly insisted on carrying one of our suitcases, as the stairs are quite steep (as expected in a historic house).

The accomodation is in a very central location only a few minutes walk from the cathedral, pier for boat tours and many restaurants and shops. The place is very charming and Nathalie was very helpful with lots of advice and tips on the nearby area. There was also many goodies provided with the room (sweets, savoury snacks and drinks) which was a nice touch. The breakfast was of top quality with heaps of local produce provided (yoghurt, cheese, bread and pastries). We had a wonderful stay and would definitely stay here again.
I thought that perhaps the rooms could do with a bit less decoration as it can sometimes feel a little bit cluttered (at least for my personal taste). Other than that, not much else to note here as the place is great.

The host is a truly lovely and welcoming lady who made us instantly feel at home. She was also very helpful offering safe shelter for our two bikes, provided us with information material and maps for Strasbourg, offered us complimentary drinks, tea, coffee and snacks and showed us around her gorgeous guest rooms which really are unique with style and comfort. The house dates back to the 16th century, and anyone interested in historic buildings will simply love this one. The accommodation doesn't leave any unfulfilled wishes. There is fantastic view onto the old city and even though it is centrally located, it offers a fair degree of tranquility. Another highlight was the opulent breakfast with self-made jams, fruit medley, juices, a big arrangement of local cheese etc.
All in all an amazing place to stay with a lovely host.
Mattress a bit too soft for my taste, but that may just be me.

location and breakfast are very good
during our stay of two nights no hot shower water was available due to a problem with the boiler. The weather was quite warm but still we’d like a warm shower.

My daughter and I had a very nice stay. Natalie is a wonderful Hostess. She went over and beyond our expectation, was extremely helpful and accomodating. Even helped us find our way to the tram in the rain that brought us to the train station. Breakfast was perfect. Conversation was great. The location is ideal for seeing Strasbourg. Everything was in walking distance. We'd definitely stay here again.
The stairs are a bit narrow and steep, but manageable

Everything!!!! Nathalie is the best. Very kind, helpful, accommodating and goes above and beyond to please her guests. The location is conveniently located and a short walk for many attractions in Strasbourg. Our room had a nice view of the river and we could see the top of the Cathedral. The rooms were very cozy and full of charm. We traveled through several countries in Europe and Nathalie's breakfast was by far the best. Can't wait to return.
We liked everything!

Wonderful location, warm and welcoming interior, extremely lovely host and quite possibly the best breakfast we've ever had in a B&B or hotel.
The bathroom might feel quite tiny and cramped for those with a larger/wider stature

We loved our stay at Quai 17 Maison d'Hotes. The place was very clean, offered a selection of teas, coffees, and treats, and was very conveniently located in Strasbourg. It is actually on a fairly busy street, but after closing the windows at night, we didn't hear a thing. Nathalie is a wonderful, helpful hostess. She helped us get a reservation for dinner, called a taxi to take us to the port, and gave us such good advice. In addition, her breakfast was one in a million! She served us fresh breads, fruit and jams, homemade yogurt, cheeses -- I can't begin to name everything. I cannot praise her enough, and we would definitely stay here again!
The only thing I can think of that a potential guest should consider is that there are steps to climb up to the apartment and that the bathroom is very small. It might be too tight for a larger person.

This place is like no other! We had the best imaginable time in the stunning, eclectic home, decorated with so much taste and care. Every room and every detail was beautiful and special. Nathalie is a wonderful host, who made us feel so welcome and prepared a breakfast that was unbelievable - regional products, home made jams, juices, lovely french bread and pastry, it was the best breakfast we ever had, no doubt. The place is located perfectly for exploring Strasbourg, just a short walk from everything. Through the window you can see the cathedral tower, the canal and the old city center at the same time, you don’t get the noise from the tourists. Couldn’t be better! Thank you Nathalie for having us, the lovely time, the cozy chats and for creating this gem!
Nothing, everything was perfect

An unforgettable meeting with Nathalie, owner of the property, that I considered really much more as an interlocutor. Thanks, Nathalie, for these moments, your help, your trust, the time you gave me.
The flat is deeply different than let's say a classical lodging in an hotel. But the truth is I felt a few crashed by the abundance of pillows, cushions, lights, decorative items.
Considering that I was most of the time outside, I had not enough to appreciate this not ordinary space.
Another paradoxal thing: the bathroom is quite a minimal one and immediately faces the door which is actually not a door but a sliding structure.

Huge, great breakfast. The best breakfast we ever got served, with dozens of kinds of food: pastries, cheese, jams, honey, juice, coffee, tea, fruit salad and much more.
Very nice landlord who loves assisting.
Beautiful decorations.
Great location. Romantic old building with river and cathedral views from the windows.
Need to take into account there are many stairs to climb
