Rooms are very pleasant, cozy and comfortable. Breakfast was great. Eggs are prepared freshly on request. Beds are great too. You get a view of the mountains from the balcony. Staff are extremely friendly and courteous Parking is free

Bathroom has some wear and tear. Taps were not perfectly working.

Nice restaurant, a simple room, but clean and perfect for our one-night stay.

We were extremely happy with the room, the location, availability of the parking space, and a convenience of a restaurant with an extremely delicious food and very accommodating and caring personnel.

We knew we were going to be late to arrive at the hotel.... and tried at least 5 times during the day of the 18th of May to reach the hotelm management through the phone number we found in order to let them know we might be 21 or 2 hours late. Since last check-in time was 7 pm and to be sure our room was not going to be given to other people, we made sure we were at the hotel at 6.45 pm; cutting short our visit of Salzburg that day ! When we arrived at the hotel and confronted the manager of the hotel with the fact we had tried to contact the hotel at least 5 times during the day... he just shrudded and said " ...we needn't be nervous ...since he wasn't nervous .." and added " ...that he did not have the time at all to pick up the phone." And asked us "... what the problem really was ...since we were there, right ?? ". My spuse was really taken aback by such rudeness and arrogance. This is NOT a way to treat customers and as an Austrian she is NOT used to being treated in such a concdescending, arrogant manner !! We were pleased that at least th breakfast was ok the next morning...BUT ...trhe manager of the hotel we saw baxk in the morning didn't even deem it correct to apologize in any way for his attitude the evening before !! We have decided we WILL NOT BE RETURNING to this HOTEL. Overall... the staff seemed to be nervous and on edge. Not even a smile ! I think the hotel must be understaffed ..or the staff is just plain rude and not at all trained in customer friendlyness !!

Clean room.

Reception. There was nobody there. We went in and it was in pitch darkness. Nobody there. We had arrived the time we said we would. We had to grope around in the reception in the dark for a light switch. We could have been burglars or thieves. Anyone. It took us 10 minutes to find a light switch on the wall. We had to use their telephone to phone the number which we eventually found to ring (a note in the blackness to phone on the front door). Our own phone wasn't working). A man answered. Said someone would be with us. 6 minutes later a young girl turned up. She was not happy. After 5 minutes she found the key for our room. Huffing and puffing. She pointed us to a block of apartments across a car park. I had to make her show us where to go, because she was going to leave us to manage on our own. My husband is 78 years. She very unhappily took us up to the third floor, and went to leave again. I had to make her show us which room we were in. The room numbering are in numbers of two inches high. Not visible to anyone with a sight problem. Regardless, she put us off ever coming here again, and which is a shame, as we will be backwards and forwards from the UK for some time to come. Maybe they are not worried about repeat customers. Dreadful treatment, and it wasn't cheap.

Breakfast and living conditions are perfect. Very clean and styled rooms. Love that we get key in the morning, so we can enter room when we wanted in the evening without additional check in!
