The Apartment we stayed in all I can say was Amazing a spiral staircase to get up to it 😊😊x Bathroom was huge with a walk in shower in there x A stand alone WORKING BATH in your bedroom which looked amazing x the Mirror was WOW x Bed was so comfortable and all the lights in the bedroom and bathroom changed at a switch of the remote to lots of different colours x if you looking to stay with someone this is definitely worth staying I will be DEFINITELY staying again x

Es war ruhig. Die Vermieterin war freundlich und hilfreich. Es gab einen reichlichen Vorrat an Tee/Kaffee, Handtüchern. Das Zimmer ist nachts schön dunkel und es drängt kaum Licht von draußen rein.
Das Zimmer ist nicht zweckgebaut und die Steckdosen waren an der falschen Stelle. Die Lage ist für Gäste ohne Auto eher ungeeignet, weil man eine halbe Stunde laufen muss in die Innenstadt - z.T. entlang einer viel befahrenen Straße ohne Bürgersteig. Geschäfte gibt es nicht in der Nähe.

I traveled to Lundy so I just needed to stay somewhere the night before the early sailing the following morning. Beautiful location a short walk to an amazing sea view and a short drive to Bideford. The host was very friendly and helpful. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you

Lower Winsford is a delightful old home that now provides comfortable accommodation, with everything you need for an overnight stay or two. Perfectly placed for visiting north Devon. Great places to eat without travelling far.

Location and privacy. Lovely bathroom. Smart TV with iplayer, netflix etc. Secure parking. It served my purpose perfectly as it was just somewhere to sleep while visiting friends

Studio apartment was lovely. The pictures shown on booking.com are exactly what the studio is like. Very cosy, quiet, and at a decent location. The host which was the owners son, was a very nice guy, and accommodating made sure I had everything I require.

A very pleasant one night stay in a quiet, clean, light, airy room and the shower was great. Took advantage of the short drive to Westward Ho Lido for a swim and the short walk to the Thatched Inn for dinner. Sandy was a lovely hostess.

Sandy was a great hostest ! Room was lovely and clean, quiet with nice views, we would recommend a stay there. We intend to stay again soon .Thankyou Sandy so much see you soon 😊

The location was good for access to Bideford and the surrounding area. Off road parking provided. The shower was of a good size with good water pressure and hot water.
No breakfast provided for those staying in rooms, despite being advertised as a "bed & breakfast". This may be different if staying in the luxury apartments. Owner was not interested in meeting guests with all communication restricted to text messaging. No greeting on arrival or farewell on departure. Traffic noise from the A39 is high but not particularly invasive. En-suite was cramped but usable.

The setting was spectacular, our host was friendly and helpful. Her dog was delightful.
We paid a fair price for Luxury and breakfast, neither was provided. Unable to make a hot drink due to kettle, cafetiere, and coffee pod machine were all grubby and kettle and coffee machine still had water in them. The toiletaries were Carex and Radox ... not luxury. The 2 chairs had springs gone and one wobbled and creaked. No breakfast.
This may sound over critical, but with Luxury and breakfast in the title, I feel these comments are valid.

Bed was comfortable
No breakfast {in a b&b}. No cafes nearby. Only one bathroom toiletry ie MENs Radox. Shower soap holder collapsed. No daily clean/supply of mug for tea. No daily clearing of bin. No tissues. No obvious extractor fan in bathroom. Supposedly quiet stay - other guests left at 0530 - not quiet. Property still advertises as a b&b on outside notice.

Comfortable room and a lovely shower. Parking was also good. Room 3 was spacious enough and the room was quiet.
Disappointed that the accommodation was not dog friendly. Despite it being described as such even up to the payment page it transpires the rooms are not dog friendly although the Terrace Apartment is. Also, the entrance hall needs a make over as it brings the overall impression down. Disappointingly there is also no breakfast which affects the value for money score.

We were staying in the self catering apartment which was well-equipped and very comfortable, we lacked nothing.
I would recommend this apartment.

Staying at Lower Winsford was a pitstop before travelling to Lundy Island. It was only about a 5 min drive to Bideford Quay. I had booked a single room, but was upgraded to a double! I did not get to meet the host due to timings, but she was very helpful via text messages. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. The shower was phenomenal! Bed was very comfy. I wish I could have stayed longer.
Can't recall anything that I did not like.
