Great place to stay in Redding when traveling with a pet. It's close to anything you might need, including a self-wash pet salon, parks, and the walking path along the Sacramento River. The Americana staff are some of the best folks around. This is our go-to hotel in Redding!

Well, homes and hotels can always be cleaner, but I'm also a neat-freak.

This is an old hotel that has been nicely rehabbed into the 21st century. All the fixtures and furniture are updated. My room had a comfy king bed, a large new TV, and a very nice bathroom. No problem bringing along my small dog. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. If you are overnighting in Redding, give this downtown hotel a try. Oh, and there's a Dutch Bros across the street and Heavenly Donuts on the next block.

The staff was very attentive, the rooms were large and clean.

Wish there was a full size mirror in the room and another spot for someone else to get ready while the bathroom is being occupied. Also, the beds were very hard.

neighborhood was a little scary at night - lots of houseless people. dog friendly place but nowhere to take dog to do business on property and neighborhood was not great for walking dog past dark.

Very friendly staff. Room was clean, bed pretty comfortable. Polished concrete floor was "interesting" but clean.

I'll ding the housekeeping staff for not reporting that the toilet seat was literally broken off! We slid around like a bucking bronco! They should've noticed it needed repair if they had cleaned properly. It was too late at night to report it to maintenance.

Well situated to walk to dinner and breakfast near by.

The bar next-door was a little loud, but we completely drowned it out by turning on the air-conditioner. I would stay there again as it wasn't that big a deal.

Excellent option for exploring northern California. It's easy to stay, to arrive. The team is super welcoming, especially Tobias, which was efficient and kind.

Good location in center of Redding. Reasonably quiet. Good parking. Simple motel spiffed up to give it a modern edge. Clean. Friendly staff. We would stay again.
