The property was wonderful. Easily catered for our group of 7. The front and back deck were lovely to spend time on. The kitchen was well stocked with pots pans plates and utensils. Communication with the owner was easy with prompt responses. We had a great easter stay and hope to return.

This place is a comfortable simple beach house that provides access to all the beautiful spots of the southern YP and then return in the evening. It is also so close to a great little beach. Plenty of wild life visitors from the nearby national park . We spent 2 weeks here.

Disappointing when such a nice place is let down by inadequate cleaning. Wife shouldn't have to re-wash dishes and clean dirty cupboard shelves and chopping board before we can start the holiday. Dusty floors and couch crevices not much fun. Lots of other helpful considerations still made it worthwhile and enjoyable.

This home was outstanding. It was warm, welcoming and well presented. It had everything we needed for our stay and the heater was perfect for warmth and cosiness. The street was quiet and we even had some hoppy friends greet us on the front lawn after a day out. We will definitely be back in the future

We all really loved the location and convenience of the property. Super clean and perfect for what we needed. Mark was very easy to communicate with and made the process very easy. We can’t wait to get back up the for another fishing trip and stay again.

Everything you need for a break at Marion bay

The home offers a comfortable base for exploring the Innes National Park. one downside was I don't recall seeing clearly in the property description at the time of booking that we had to supply our own linen until just before we drove down from Adelaide, so as we had flown in from Brisbane, we had to purchase new sheets and towels. In all our stays all over the world this is a very rare requirement and was unexpected. We will now need to separately post all these new linen items home to Brisbane. I suggest that this requirement and the requirement to supply your own firewood to be prominently displayed in the descriotion that is visible at teh time of booking.

Melaleuca Retreat, Marion Bay. Great location, neat clean and comfortable residence, as expected. Owners responsive to our queries. Tavern great meals. Close to Innes Nat Park. Good day spent exploring. Pleasant walks along the beach. Saw kangaroos and emu in paddock close by. Really nice and good value.

Fantastic stay! Kids, hubby and I found the property perfect for our needs. So close for a day trip to Innes National Park and very close for a quick dip in the ocean.
Property manager went above and beyond to assist us with linen as we were travelling from Interstate. The only thing I wish it had, was a washing machine to do a quick load of kids clothes.
Would definitely recommend!!!

It was pretty good! Tidy house,spacious rooms, close to the beach and jetty also few minutes drive to Innes Park. WE enjoyed our stay in your place.

Well equipped kitchen. Close to beach & Cafe. Weeds at front of the property detracting. Two lights in lounge didn't work. Good amount of supplies. New laundry and bathroom area but slight mould on shower tiles which detracts from the overall lovely presentation of the room. We enjoyed our stay overall. We enjoyed being so close to national park with so many local places to visit and flora and fauna at doorstep. Perfect type to visit with the abundance of spring native flowers.

The house is close to Innes National Park and had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, great kitchen, modern bathroom and the second toilet was a big help when friends stayed. We would stay here again and recommend it to others.

We had a truly lovely stay in this house! I agree with previous reviews that the photos don't do it justice. Very tranquil, spacious, cosy, with everything you need. Excellent location right next the park's entrance. Great communication from the owner/property manager. Can recommend!

property was well supplied with all i needed...was a bit out of town so car needed to get to shops resturant and pub but was 200 metres to beach . BBQ is ancient but works really well and could cook up a feast for 10 people easy..
Only negatives were only one bedroom has a robe and there are no mirrors except a small one in the bathroom but the outside furniture is top class and would ensure any stay would be comfortable....TV and video take a bit of working out but sure thats just me...loved staying there and will be back for sure..no wi fi but who needs it when your on hols..priced well and pet friendly make it top of my list to stay again .

Marion Bay magic.
Needs periodic maintenance to make sure everything works. More thorough cleaning needed in particular dog odour and hair. Double bed was terrible. Otherwise was very enjoyable.
