Location was perfect for my needs. Staff helpful. Room was clean and comfortable. Wifi signal was strong and TV worked well with many channels. Breakfast was delicious and filling. I would recommend Gîtes de l'isle - Appartements en Location Courte Durée.

good communication with host who was quick to respond to our needs. very clean apartment. the bed was comfy. parking was easy, free and a short walk to the apartment.

it was very noisy at times with others in the block coming in very late and banging doors. also we were woken by people leaving the building at 6am talking extremely loudly and slamming a door (that actually closes quietly if left) twice! of course this is not a reflection on the hosts or apartment and we may just be extra fussy.

Location is perfect

Bathroom shower wasn't clean, stained and corrosion . Stairway not clean smell. Room windows need screens to keep bugs from entering. .

Location was good, great shower. All the amenities were there but we only used the fridge & kettle so cannot comment on other facilities.

People up & down the stairs from the other appartments between 2 & 4am each night. I tried to use hair dryer but it rattled & felt unsafe so I didn't use it & I think it needs checking.

This is an old townhouse with a few small apartments. It was something different clean and cozy. We were a family of 4 and once it was time to open the sofa at 23.00 we noticed there was no bed linen for the sofa bed ( at least we couldn't find any ) ... I took a chance and sent a message to the host even tho it was late. He replied within minutes and came with new fresh bed linen.

Have never been in a small french village before so don't have much to compare with. However, i wasn't 100% comfortable parking the car in the area overnight. Felt there was a few dodgy people around.

This apartment is a horror show. We were greeted by a MASSIVE amount of flies due to the window that was left open right above 10 rubbish bins. The flies were not a one-off either, there were dead fly carcasses on the indoor windows - someone else had done battle with them and the cleaner had not made an effort to remove them. And you WILL be sleeping with the windows closed. The sheets were as cheap as you can find, the hairdryer was broken, (it's a fire hazard) there were bare lightbulbs in the bathroom… not the decorative kind, just bare bulbs. Our 'host' got back to us once to give us the door codes & would not pick up 5 minutes later when we called back to inquire where we could find the 'free parking' that was advertised on their ad. To top it all off the message in the room says we are to remove the used bedlinen ourselves & that there is a strict fee of €20 for leaving after 10a. Are you kidding, we got out of there as soon as we could!

There was no parking apart from on the street and there was none when we arrived We had a car full of our travel clothes and a very, very expensive bicycle . This needs to be better explained on the booking.com website for this accommodation. The owner was not interested in our plight and was over 80 dollars richer because we didn’t use the room. Good luck to him. We decided to stay somewhere else .

they opened the door with difficulty, the second bed does not fold out, there is no linen for the third guest, the kettle is broken, there is no washing machine, coffee machine also not work

This is a modern well restored apartment which was particularly clean and well equipped. It enjoys a very good location right in the centre of Chateau Thierry with free public car parking just round the corner. We were in the ares to buy champagne and where better? there was also a very good selection of restaurants all within easy wlking distance.

All was good but perhaps a more substantial curtain in the bedroom would be an improvement.

This was a lovely modern fully functional studio apartment for a long stay. I was able to use the kitchen for daily cooking, keep the fridge stocked with items bought from the local supermarket and with access to all local shops it was easy to buy my daily baguette!! The room was larger than I expected. There is a fabulous large walk in shower with supply to hot water and toiletries in the bathroom if required. The bed was reasonably comfortable for a long stay and there was a decent wi-fi signal for the majority of the time as well as large TV with access to entertainment such as Netflix. I enjoyed the location in the bustling town center, the road noise didn't bother me and there were shutters that could be pulled down over the window at night. The host was always ready to give assistance when needed and I was not disturbed by the host at all which was appreciated. The location is ideal for walking to the castle and other places in the town center and I found the interior of the flat quiet most of the time according to the other guests staying at the time. I would definitely choose to stay here again.

Occasional noise disturbances from other people especially Saturday night. Things falling on floor above, floor being played like a drum and general party mode and inconsiderate nature of guests staying there which was short lived and expected at the weekend to some extent. Thankfully only one night! There was what appeared to be an opening night of a bar with live music on Saturday night just opposite the apartment. Fine if you're also staying awake until 2am! I didn't like the skull money box or the mirrored windows opposite the road where I discovered people living there could see me! (Just pull the blind down a bit!)
