The food and the wine were perfect. The host and all empoyees were very nice; we had a beautiful room with mountain view. A great evening, a quiet night, perfect stopover for a car trip through Corse. They already have 10/10 on my scale, if they want 12/10 - add an ev charger!!

wonderful old style hotel in a great mountain village, it really has preserved a nice old world charm, very french in a good way. our room was newly renovated and had everything we needed. the attached restaurant has a beautiful beergarden and seems very popular with the locals but we preferred some more corsican cuisine, which also can be found right in town. we slept well, especially since it was always nice and cool at night in Aullene, with the windows open.

in one word: breakfast. the breakfast here is really nothing special, 2 croissants and some baguette, plus a basket of jams and butter packs. cereals with joghurt and industrial orange juice from a dispenser machine. basically, nothing that involves anyone to do any work. no cheeses, no hams, no sausages, no eggs, no fruits, no cakes, no cookies. just like a motel. the coffemachine was wrongly programmed, hot chocolate came out when pressing the 'cappuccino' button. no big deal i guess, french people press the 'cafe au lait' button. but then again, breakfast only costs €9 and one can choose to not have it, which we did after the first time.
