Very quaint property with gorgeous surrounds and a great location. The life-like gas heater in the fireplace was a lovely surprise and the open plan of the suite, very nicely done. The Guest Information folder in the room was very well thought out and smartly put together. Also a generous touch was the provision of fresh crumpets, cereals, plenty of milk and butter for breakfast. Property was easy to access and the host was very approachable and helpful. Easy parking.

The lighting, except for the bedside lamps was really poor particularly at night. I abandoned any hope of trying to apply makeup even in the morning. The mattress is extremely hard and uncomfortable to sleep upon. The lack of sink at the amenities counter was a nuisance as the jug wouldn't easily fit under the tap in the bathroom basin. The people upstairs were quite noisy but luckily they called it quits at 11pm. This is, of course, no fault at all of the property.

Great, comfortable bed, A nice continental breakfast which was plentiful. Gorgeous views outside and a very handy laundry.. Lovely large TV which would have been lovely to relax as I had a few days sick but a poor owl clipped the antenna and so no TV but that was ok it wasn't a must have for the holiday.. Thank you for a lovely stay. 😀

The place could use a lick of paint and a dust for the cobwebs but it is in the country😊

The feeling of isolation but still very close to town, the welcome basket was nice, the views from the balcony, the welcome booklet was fantastic.

The couch was extremely uncomfortable and sunken in, the bathroom could use a bit of a good scrub.

The privacy, air-conditioned comfort & quality of furnishings, breakfast supplies, proximity to town and farm-like setting made our two night stay most enjoyable. WiFi facility, access to property and car parking were all very convenient.

We had no complaints at all and would have no hesitation recommending Lindsay House "Cow and Cabernet" to family and friends.

Loved the location - the size the views wow what a sight

the kitchen utensils need a refresh, the bbq needs some love and the decks are a bit scary to walk on.
