The instructions for arriving and collecting the keys were spot on as we found everything on our first try!
The property is the perfect size for a couple wishing to visit the local area (Tavistock, Dartmoor, Eden Project, beaches, etc), with amazing views. The kitchen/bathroom are very well equipped. The living room and bedroom were cozy and comfortable with modern furniture.

Fabulous roomy and comfortable accommodation - well equipped with everything one needs for a self catering break. Great base for exploring Devon and Cornwall in the car, but also great scenery and walking in the immediate area. So peaceful! Particularly liked the large shower and the massive comfy bed.

A home from home stay at The Barn. The Barn is in a stunning location, quiet, Dartmoor on the doorstep.
Couldn't want for anything extra during our stay, except for more days!

We loved absolutely everything: peaceful location, walks from the doorstep, the facilities. We felt very comfortable. A really relaxing stay.

Fantastic cottage with everything you could need. The bed was insanely comfortable, the shower was excellent and the garden faces west so was amazing for watching the sunset. It’s super spacious too and backs right onto the moors, so perfect for trekking. Couldn’t fault it!

We cooked our breakfast. The location is bit far out of the town. But it is peaceful and quiet.
The slip road to the barn was bit bumpy. It was difficult to find the slip road to the barn.

Everything. Loved the views. The sofa. The bathroom. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need, the decor was a high standard, bed supper supper comfy, would rate a 12 if I could.

The barn is great accommodation for two.literally on the edge of the moor (so close we were welcomed by a family of cattle at the gate). The bed was particularly comfortable- good rest/sleep is a very important factor in a successful holiday!
Nothing we didn’t like about the property. If there is any downside to the location it is that you have to drive to most places. There is no real centre or local facilities as such. Not even a walkable pub as there is no roadside footpath or pavement to it and the road in Mary Tavy is a busy one with constant traffic and no street lighting so we didn’t risk it.

Well equiped throughout.
Overgrown bushes either side of access ground meant had to drive slowly due to car having to push through them.
