Amazing place, mysterious and unique. Very clean rooms. Great walking paths to the ruins of the castle. Amazing views.

No wi-fi and network coverage

Casa Rurali is located in an ancient historic so called ghost village. We stayed in a spacious apartment in the ancient town, just a few meters away from the old church with the bell tower. The place is nicely renovated while keeping the character of the original home. The view from the windows is spectacular, and listening to the church bells ring in the morning makes it even more inspiring.

Parking is in the small piazza, some 400 meters down hill from the property, so you better travel light.

The location and place itself was wonderful and something to experience, I would highly recommend. Also host kindly arranged us dinner at local farmhouse that was absolutely wonderful. If you want to experience something unique and special, this is for you.

As tip. Arrange per phone/email arrival time to be sure that accommodation rep comes to show you where it is and you get the key.

Very helpful people. We arrived a bit later than expected but there were no complaints. Plus they drove up and down the hill to carry our baggage, rather than leaving it to us. The location is certainly memorable. The town is obviously being gradually built up into something aimed at tourists, but at the moment it still has very much a feeling of a deserted town that you can wander around at will. The accommodations aren't luxurious but are perfectly comfortable. The view is wonderful.

The internet didn't work at all, and the location meant that cell phone reception was intermittent.
