They need to up their game firstly before going there I gave them a call and asked if they have backup for loadsheding they said yes however they only turn on the back up from 20h00 at night and turn it off at 00h00 and mind due I was going there for work purposes and I work until the early mornings....secondly the wifi connection I was told that it's very good and has no problems however it resets every 1 hour and even if there is electricity it is really horrible ended up using my own data to work....they had no electricity from about 20h00 at night this is understandable in the country we live in however they only turned on the backup 45 mins later then turned off at 00h00 leaving me with a whole lot of issues. Lastly that hotel is more based in Hillbrow then it is in Houghton so be prepared for that when you check in. The ants in the room are a nightmare they should provide guests with doom at least or get pest control to take care of it. Bed is too high.

Everything was excellent customer service 💯 The place is clean

Last day of check out there was loadshedding and their generator was not working. From 6am until 12am could not bath because there was no hot water 🥶

La electricidad no era constante. No podías tener la seguridad si contarías con luz, por lo tanto no sabías si tendrías internet, podrías cargar tu celular o si podrías usar la ducha. Además, el hotel no cuenta con información para hacer turismo o contactos de transporte o guías.

Couldn’t find the place. It was in a berth dodgy part of town. It’s more in Yeoville than Houghton. Phone just answered like it’s a personal phone, not professional. Accents differing. Scary if I’m honest. Uber driver couldn’t even locate the place due to lack of signage etc

The rooms are clean but found roaches crawling about and the noise from the hall ways made it very uncomfortable to get any sleep. The windows allow light in from the hall way and the mold in the bathroom is terrible.
