Good accommodation in a quiet and peacful setting. Cleaning staff every day. Gardens good. Close to town, shops and restaurants.

Disppointed that the fitness centre was at considerbale extra cost. TV has no UK channels. Initially went to wrong reception because there is more than one on site. Felt remote from owner with on site reception not receptive to comments and issues to resolve.

We especially liked how big the apartment was. It was also very clean and in a really good condition.

We were disappointed with the crockery/utensils which consisted of a selection of cups plates, bowls etc. 6 x soup bowls, side plates, dinner plates which was acceptable. Unfortunately there were only 3 large cups with saucers, 2 odd cups, 1 mug, + 7 saucers, an assortment of odd plates. There were sets of champagne glasses but only 2 wine glasses of different sizes. This was well below the standard we were expecting for such an apartment. The standard lamp in the living room didn't work. Tea towels provided had holes in them. The plug in the was basin didn't work and had to be operated manually from the cupboard below. The plug in the main bath was incomplete. It would be useful to be provided with an inventory.

What a great surprise! Wonderful apartment in a superb resort. All you need to enjoy a great time with your family with many green spaces for kids and swimming pool. Looking forward to come back!

reception careway is a little weak

The terrace was south east facing so perfect for early morning sunshine flooding in. Brilliant for breakfast on the patio. Good range of tv channels, e.g. sky sports a bonus. Accommodation comfortable, clean and well laid out.

Twin/back bedroom backs onto the busy road running through the centre of the Boavista complex. This road is extensively used and is busy with traffic particularly in the morning. If you are a light sleeper who has to have the window open this is not a good bedroom. The noisy AC in the apartment above ours came on every hour for about four minutes, for 24 hours a day. Very loud and with no one renting/living in the apartment it was baffling. Washing machine leaks and it flooded the kitchen (reported to Careways) Maintenance man came within a day to fix it.
