We had an amazing time here at Cinqueterre Residence, using Riomaggiore as a base to explore the other towns. Our room had a spectacular view of the entire town, from which we could enjoy the sunset in peace each evening. The room itself was very clean, brightly lit and housekeeping was thorough everyday. Breakfast was delicious and the hot chocolate was the highlight (my wife’s favorite on our whole trip). Service was outstanding from Davide and his family! They were extremely helpful and gave great recommendations on the best hiking trails, detailed directions to reach the property (Google maps is not always accurate here), and other local attractions. We were most impressed that the day before our scheduled arrival, Davide contacted us about an upcoming train strike which enabled us to make alternative travel arrangements in time. We greatly enjoyed our stay here and plan to return next time!

The breakfast really surprised us. We could have stayed and eaten all morning. Everything was so delicious. Wonderful location. The staff are so friendly and really go above and beyond.

The staff were charming, polite and helpful. The rooms was spacious and well equipped. Private terrace was a bonus. Upper terrace (shared) was fabulous place to watch the sunsets. Great location for views, town and nearby restaurants a steep walk back but worth it. Hot tub was relaxing after a day hiking. Loved the different levels of the hotel and gardens and terraces.

Loved everything about this property! It’s family owned and operated by wonderful, hard working people. Davide welcomed us and explained everything we needed to know. Gave us some great tips about hiking town to town. Breakfast was fantastic and the mini bar is stocked daily with water and soft drinks. The complimentary bottle of Prosecco was a nice touch and very appreciated. Room was awesome, spacious with so many nice touches. Beautiful grounds with a hot tub and seating area.

great location, with wonderful views across the town, the hills and out to sea. we had a superior room which had a lovely terrace with fab views. A 5 minute walk into the centre of town, 8-10 to the harbour front and train station. Note, there are a lot of steps at the property and into town, but this should be expected for the area. The staff were wonderful and the property is small. The hot tub was lovely after a long day out walking - especially after it had been turned up a couple of degrees when the weather turned and was a bit chilly. There is easy access to the trails, and Davide gave some great advise on routes to take a places to stop as well as some restaurants to try - of which he made reservations for us. Wine tasting at Gheme is highly highly recommended.

Breakfast was great, good selection. Hosts were very helpful & informative of the treks & the staff very friendly. Location is key in this area. Its 7 mins walk to town & train station/marina where the ferry can be picked up.

It was an exceptional stay for me: my first vaccation on my own, and Davide Irene and all the others made it the best possible! I felt welcome and at home at any time. I would always recommend it and wished the stay had been longer :)

This accommodation gives you a taste of the life of the locals in riomaggiore being sited on the face of the valley leading to the port. All accommodations have a separate entrance with a terrace where one can enjoy delicious breakfast. The staff is fantastic especially the girl who is simply exceptional. The location is ideal with a good parking place for your car. The views from the residence are unique. It’s a place that we consider returning to

Beautiful room, balcony, and view. Easy access by key fob. Staff was very fri madly and helpful. Beds very comfortable and air conditioning worked great!

We didn't realize how many steps it would be to get to the residence and my mother had some difficulties. Also because of covid the breakfast was just okay, but the staff tried their best. Also the shower was a bit awkward for tall people (it's easy to hit your head standing).

The staff—Irene, Carla and Davide—were the absolute best! So kind, and ready to help with anything and everything you might need: restaurant recommendations, boat tours, registering you for a pre-flight COVID test. You name it. All of the staff were so welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful. Cinqueterre Residence is pure magic….absolutely stunning day and nighttime sea views from our private terrace as well as the rest of the grounds. And so many flowers, beautiful flowers, everywhere. Our room was clean, quiet, modern, comfortable, and had every convenience—-including USB outlets in the wall, electrical adapters, a fridge, and ample space for all our belongings . There were so many nice touches throughout our stay… a variety of free beverages, restocked daily…. A welcoming bottle of Prosecco…Breakfast served to our room daily from a menu with too many options to list ( a replacement for their pre-pandemic buffet). Our stay in Riomaggiore couldn’t have been better! Thank you all so much!

10/10 would recommend! The staff was very welcoming and showed us around the property on the day of the arrival. Due to the COVID guidelines the breakfast was brought to our room, which was quite nice.

This beautiful hotel is much more than just a hotel it truly a home away from home and the entire staff is family that extends themselves at every opportunity to please and serve. The location is perfect, rooms and all the common spaces are pristine clean, and they provide many extras such as a wonderful hot tub outside, a free mini-bar replenished every day, an unbelievably generous and delicious breakfast, beautiful plants and flowers, reasonably priced convenient parking and I could actually go on and on. EACH room has a private terrace with table, chairs and even lounge chairs. The bathroom was large and modern with excellent water pressure and plenty of hot water. They even have a doctor on call 24 hours a day! This ALL totals VALUE. We will always use Riomaggiore and specifically this hotel whenever we return in the future. We HIGHLY recommend this property.

Nothing - all is tastefully decorated, immaculately clean and the staff simply could not be more attentive and friendly

The property is simply stunning - conveniently located within 10 minutes walk from Riomaggiore Marina/train station. It sits on the hills with a breathtaking view of the town and the sea. We stayed in Room 9 which was extremely spacious with two private terraces with tables and deckchairs. Free minibar with prosecco, water, soft drinks every day. The breakfast was also lovely - lots of choices but I do recommend the croissants (so yummy). The residence itself is so beautiful, plants and flowers everywhere, a very cool jacuzzi at disposal to all guests and a beautiful common terrace (in case you own isn't enough!!) It looks beautiful on the pictures and it is in person as well. I personally chose this because to me it was standing out from all other places in the Cinque Terre. You'll see that you can either find small rooms with no outdoor space or extremely old hotels everywhere. This one felt very luxury but in a very Italian way! I would definitely come back! Communication has always been very good - they were super nice in giving us directions and to accomodate any request. They were so nice. I actually forgot a pair of jeans in the property and they immediately found it and ship it to London where I live. Cannot thank them enough! True Italian hospitality :)
