We had a great time at Fish Kiss! The property was clean and stocked with everything anyone could want for a complete beach vacation. Comfortable, inviting seating in the living room made for great evenings relaxing around a movie. The location could not have been more perfect. The house is a short 6-8 minute walk to the beach, with direct access across Route 12 to the beach path. There is a stop light and walk/don't walk sign, which makes it safe to cross! I have to mention the beach wagon, which made toting to and from the beach very easy! We would happily rent Fiss Kiss again!

Where do I start? Between the proximity to the beach, the generous amount of available beach gear, the pool, the well stocked kitchen, the comfortable beds- this place really does have it all and we enjoyed every minute staying here. Just wish it could’ve been longer!

Location is amazing. Super close to the beach, grocery stores and a quick drive into Duck. The pool is awesome and all the extras like beach chairs, pool toys, bikes and sand toys. House is very comfortable and we enjoyed our stay very much.

This place was perfect for my family. The house had everything we needed for an amazing vacation! Lots of toys, games, and puzzles for the kids. Nice beach towels are provided, which is a nice touch. This is a short walk from the beach, but a nice beach wagon is there to help with the haul-out. 🥰
Pool was great for night swimming and the owners seem to want everyone to have a good time!
Also appreciated a quick check-out process without a lot of 'chores' before leaving.

Great location
Fish kiss was just as advertised. I stayed in this home with my two teens. It’s a very short walk to the beach. My kids enjoyed using the provided boogie boards on the beach. We used the wagon to haul our chairs and cooler to the beach. There are nice beach chairs and a cooler as well if you need them. There are also bikes and a ping pong table. Everything was as advertised. The pool was very nice also. You can easily run to the grocery stores down the road if needed. After a long day my teens enjoyed being able to watch Netflix. There is one garbage can that doesn’t have wheels out of three. I think guests before us filled it up and then I had to drag it in once the garbage company finally took it. They are serious about that three foot distancing between cans. We had a great week and I would definitely recommend this home. The hosts provide you with everything you need to have a stress free vacation!

Exceeded expectations
We absolutely loved this rental. Pictures don’t do it justice. Fully stocked kitchen had everything we needed. Pantry items were a bonus. We took advantage of corn hole and ping pong table. Private, secluded setting but so convenient to everything we needed. Gorgeous pool area with COMFORTABLE SEATING. So much room to spread out. Never felt claustrophobic. Added touches of fresh cut flowers upon arrival and a welcome bucket made it over the top perfect. Thanks so much for making this a wonderful vacation after a very crappy year. We needed it. We never needed to contact the property manager but I’m sure that would’ve been awesome too. 😎

Wonderful Stay
This is a comfortable, well located property that worked very well for three couples and one 17 month old. It's close to a beautiful section of the beach with a life guard on duty. Loved the pool area especially in the morning and after an afternoon at the beach. The kitchen is very well stocked. If you are looking for modern luxury this is not for you. If you want a great space to spend time with family this is it. A bonus is the baby's room with a crib. There are lots of games and puzzles for young and old.We left with happy memories and would return again.

A great get away
My family and I stayed at this property in May of 2021. Everything seemed very new and the kitchen had everything. Not only did it have absolutely everything we needed in it, it was all very clean. The whole house was very clean, which is one of the most important things for my family. The pool area had lots foliage debris so we cleaned that up ourselves, this was probably the only downside of this property (for us, it wasn't a big deal, we don't mind a little work even on vacation). Overall we were very impressed and would stay there again for sure!

The house is wonderfully stocked with just about everything you would need for your vacation! We had a great time staying here. Just a short walk to the beach and the pool is very relaxing. Plenty of pool toys for the children as well. Would definitely book again!

Location!
We had such a great time. The walk to the beach was short and there was so much beach equipment at the house. The pool was fantastic. Being able to get to and from the grocery stores while avoiding Hwy 12 was perfect. We plan to stay again!

Perfect location
First trip to Outer Banks and it did not disappoint! The location is perfect- close to the beach but off the main road, close to the bridge so we didn't get stuck in a traffic jam. House was clean, well stocked and pool was great. Short driving distance to shopping, restaurants, activities. We had a wonderful time and would return.

The house needs a general make over
The location was great, lots of biking possibilities... beach was a few minutes to walk..
We chose this house, because our friends with their 1 year old read the description and wanted the heated pool so that they can use it with the baby. The description did not say that the pool will be only 10F warmer than the outside temperature. Although we were there mid May, the temperature outside was in the 60s/70s during the day and partially in the 50s at night- hence the pool was too cold to use for the baby and most adults.
What we really missed except for the heated pool, was being able to sit on the deck outside for meals. The outdoor furniture on the deck were spartanic and partially falling apart and in any case did not allow 6 adults to sit at the same table.

Great experience all around. Had an 18mo. old girl with us and this house was especially kid friendly. From child safety locks to a crib & baby gate. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and Barbara was amazing. Will be coming back.

Fantastic Vacation!
We had a wonderful time at this beach house, which fit our family of 5 perfectly. The house had everything we could have hoped for, and the pool was a bit hit. We've visited OBX many times over the years, and this was by far the best location we've ever visited. The beach was super close, as were shops & restaurants (though during COVID, we only ordered delivery or carryout, which made the location important). And we really loved the feel of the neighborhood -- trees, streets to bike on, and tennis courts and a park. We'd certainly book this place again.

Family get away
It was amazing clean, convenient, and the pool was awesome. The price was a little high and miss leading vrbo stated 385.00 a night and we paid 468.00. We have used v rbo a lot and this is the first time it was higher not sure why.

Perfect getaway!!
We had an amazing 2 week stay in this home away from home! To say that Barb provided every amenity you could possibly need is an understatement. From kitchen and grilling to beach (plenty of chairs, umbrella, beach towels) to pool toys and games for all ages, this home is a true gem. Barb’s attention to detail made it possible to settle in immediately. Everything in Barb’s description is 100% spot on. If I had anything less than glowing to say, it is that we wished there was an awning by the pool where the sofas are. There’s very little shade and it gets very hot. We absolutely loved our stay and will be back for sure!!!

A Great Week!
We just had a wonderful week at fishkiss! The owners really did have everything you could have asked for at the house from pool toys to sand toys and everything in between. They were very accommodating and welcoming! We loved taking nightly bike rides through the quiet neighborhood. With three small kids, the walk to the beach was short and easy. We would definitely recommend fishkiss and stay again.

Awesome house! The pictures do not do it justice....so much nicer than the pictures reveal. Extremely clean. The pool area was gorgeous and well maintained.
The walk to the beach access was short but it was not enjoyable having to carry the wagon down and back up the steps. Would be nice if it was a ramp to the beach but overall I have zero complaints!

Great House For Your Beach Vacation or Getaway
Where to begin with this lovely little house. The pictures does not do this house justice. In a quiet neighborhood at the very front of it all. This house is literally 10 min walk to the beach. Has the only cross walk for miles that you can push the button to cross which made it so easy for my family to get safely accross the road. The life guard stand is right in front of you and had 2 lifeguards at all times at the beach access. Short drive down the road to the wal-mart, foodlion, starbucks, and easy on and off to get back to the road for the house.
The house itself was PERFECT!!! Very clean and had everything you needed to make yourself feel like you was at home. Plenty of dishes and silverware, pots and pans, and plenty of room in the fridge and cabinet space for food. The living room was very spacious connecting to the kitchen and dining room table. Very nice open floor plan there. Had two entances to the top balcony perfect for morning and evening coffees at one of the 2 tables. The bedrooms was also very spacious with plenty of room for your clothes with alot of room in the closets and dressers.
The pool area was very nice. Had pool toys which was def used with 3 different float toys. The one unicorn floaty was HUGH with a smaller unicorn float and a donut float. There is a air pump for the floats in building. Volly ball net is easy to install. Pool noodles, diving rings and other small toys are also there for the kids and BIGGER kids to play. The pool is 3 foot deep all the way to about 5 1/2 at the deep end. Perfect for little ones and a few cannon balls.
There is a full size ping pong table with plenty of ping pong balls, 2 full size bikes for your morning or eve ride, cornhole set, plenty of beach chairs, one big surf fishing pole, and a smaller one, beach umbrellas, tennis rackets and balls, and some sand castle building equipment, which we left extra for the next house guests.
Make sure to read the welcome folder which provides alot of information about the house. I just cant say enough about how enjoyable our vacation was at this house. There was 9 of us for this trip. 3 adults and 6 kids and this was the best vacation ever. Only regret was not booking it for another week!!! I want this house to be our every year vacation spot. If i could book it now for next year i would. You definitely will not be disappointed with this house.
