This was a great house for our family. It works so well for families with smaller children. The yard is fenced and they had freedom to be outside. There is even a wild bunny, which they loved. A thumbs up to a house that meets the needs for a carefree time.

Location, location, location. With a beautiful stretch of beach right in your backyard, what more could you ask for? The house had plenty of space for us and our kids, and had pretty much everything we needed for the week. Kathleen answered questions very quickly and was very responsive in all interactions. We can't wait to come back!

We absolutely loved the property. We are a family of 8 (6 children) and we had plenty of space. The living room was large and spacious. I loved the sectional!! We could all pile on there.
The kitchen had everything we needed. Even an ice maker!!! I loved sitting in the dining room and looking out the sliding doors to the ocean.
Kathleen was great to work with. She was always quick to reply and help with anything that I needed.
I have two things I absolutely loved about the cottage:
1. Location - We could walk to restaurants and ice cream places.
2. Back deck - My husband and I watched the sunsets every night and it was incredible!
We will definitely be coming back.

The house was just as described. Beautiful view of the ocean! Love the fenced yard. Outside shower was so convenient to wash all the sand off when you walk back on your private pathway from the beach! Kathleen was the most helpful host ever!!! She went above and beyond with anything we needed. She also left a gift & fresh flowers. Thank you for our memorable stay Kathleen!!!

Beautiful property right on the beach. We had a great time. Only small thing was that we did notice some small sugar ants in various rooms and the primary shower had a small crack in the floor making the floor soft in one spot. But that didn’t change the fact that we had a great time and we would come back again! Communication was superb with the property manager.

Place was easy to find and plenty of parking space for 2-3 cars(we only had one but plenty of space for more) we found the place to be clean and comfortable! Perfect location on the beach with very short trail from back gate to the sand. Back porch is amazing views for coffee in morning or watch the sunset. The place had plenty of space inside we never felt cramped for the 4 of us and could have accommodated more easily. We would definitely revisit this house and area!

We loved our stay in Indian Rocks. The location was outstanding. We woke up to amazing views every morning and watched incredible sunsets every evening. There are plenty of places to eat within walking distance or a short drive. We also enjoyed driving to Johns Pass for dinner (15 minute drive) and Clearwater (< 15 minute drive). We can't wait to go back!!!

This gem is located in the heart of Indian Rocks Beach close to everything. It is a perfect spot for a family gathering. We had 11 and fit comfortably. The downstairs under the house open area is great for having extra company, the small grassy area in the back is perfect for kids to play, and then of course the beach is only steps away. I highly recommend!

FL Sundowner is located within very close proximity to everything you will need for your stay, including restaurants and shopping. This quaint beach town was exactly what we were looking for, and this cottage fit the bill for our family of four adults with room to spare. The white sand, crystal clear water and sunset views are all phenomenal!

Milestone Birthday celebration
This place was amazing. After being in Orlando for a golf tournament to celebrate my daughter's 30th birthday, we wanted something laid back and beachy for my husband's 60th birthday. We got everything we wanted in the place. We could sit out on the covered deck and listen to the ocean and watch people walk the beach. We had a lot of places to eat within walking distance. Will definitely try to get back at this same time of year.

The way to spend New Year’s!
This property was great! Kathleen was prompt in communicating with us throughout. We had several adults, teenagers, and a little one…everyone had a great time. The kitchen is well stocked even for some unexpected items like a steamer basketr. There is also plenty of beach items (towels, mats, chairs, etc). Ultimately though, the view and beach access are spectacular!

We loved the home and access/view of the beach. Needs some minor repairs, porch door, master shower but overall, just wonderful. We would definitely stay here again. Fabulous owner, friendly and very responsive. Just a lovely little place.

Kathleen was awesome! The house is located in a great place and the beach is also great! Me and my two boys spent six nights and did a beach day, a day at Universal Studios, a beach day, a day at Islands of Adventure, a beach day…. You get the point. Best vacation ever!

Beautiful views and great layout!
This property was perfect for our family. We loved the convenient location, easy beach access, and the beautiful views from the deck. The owner was excellent to work with, the property was clean, and was well-stocked with everything we could need including beach towels and even extra sunscreen! She literally thought of everything. One thing I always worry about is how comfortable the beds and pillows will be, but they were all very comfortable here. I liked that two bedrooms were located at the rear of the house away from the living area in case someone wanted to sleep while others stayed up visiting. We have stayed in this area several times and this is our favorite property to date.

Absolute paradise!
We loved this property! Everything was pretty perfect from beginning to end. We loved the local restaurants and that the property was walking distance from so many great places to eat! The sunsets were out of this world and the water was like glass. Our family stayed for 8 days and the weather was gorgeous the entire week.
Clearwater was very close and just a short drive away (like 5 minutes) but we enjoyed the property and Indian rocks beach so much that we preferred staying out of the car. The property is much better in person - the online pics really do not show what a great place this is!

Family vacation Memorial Day 2021
The Sundowner cottage is an absolute gem! The house is very well kept, clean and nicely furnished (beach without being over-the-top beach). The three bedrooms were enough for my group of 6 without having to utilize the pull-out in the living room. We were very comfortable! The best part: BEACHFRONT!!! The deck has commanding views of the beach and the Gulf and the sunsets are nothing short of spectacular! A few steps through the dunes to the white sand and you are setting up your chair/umbrella for a very relaxing day of sunshine and emerald water. Indian Rocks is a great location, easy to get to Clearwater or Madeira Beach if you want to do other activities. Kathleen is a terrific host, very responsive if you need anything and very welcoming. Highly recommend.

The Perfect Family Beach Getaway
We had an absolute blast on your much needed family spring break with friends. This house is perfectly located on the beach. We were so pleasantly surprised the house was actually nicer than expected. There is even an ice machine in the kitchen to pack your coolers for the beach but the house is so close you have the option to walk back to it. Everything is the house is fully functional and comfortable and the owner was wonderful to work with. Communication was great. We highly recommend this house for a family vacation. We will be back!!
