Everything was perfect

This was my third time in Phuket. The goal of my trip was to train Muay Thai and CrossFit. I first booked one week at Coconut Wells but decided very quickly that I wanted to extend my stay! So, I extended with an additional 2 weeks! The location of Coconut Wells was perfect for me. I rented a motorcycle and from Coconut Wells to Tiger Muay Thai (or all other training establishments in that street) took me no more than 10 mins. on the motorcycle. Also from my bungalow to any of the nice beaches (Kata beach, Karon beach, Nai Han beach) are all within 15 mins. by motorcycle! The atmosphere at Coconut Wells is very relaxed. There is a total of six bungalows, so it was never crowded/noisy/busy, which I liked. Every bungalow has it’s own roof terrace, which is ideal to recover from the workouts and enjoy the sun. To cool-down, I made a lot of use of the pool! The staff (Yuyi, Yim and Pop) are great. They made me feel at home from day one and they are a large contributor to the whole relaxed vibe at Coconut Wells! Additional events are organized by the staff such as pub quiz nights and boat trips, which are also a lot of fun and ideal to meet new people. Best accommodation I’ve had in Phuket! Will definitely be back on my next trip to Phuket!

Sehr schön eingerichtete Bungalows mit liebevollen Details und toller Garten! Es gibt einen Pool, einen Billardtisch und eine Kochecke, die man gemeinsam nutzen kann. Wir mussten 2 Tage früher abreisen und uns wurden die beiden Nächte komplett zurückerstattet.

Leider ist das Resort sehr abgelegen. Es gibt in der Nähe eine grosse, verkehrsreiche Hauptstrasse und ein paar Cafès, ansonsten aber nichts. Das 10 min. entfernte Rawai hat uns leider auch nicht gefallen. Die Gegend hat einfach keinen Charme. Auch absolut nicht für Fussgänger geeignet. Für 2-3 Nächte ist das Resort sicher toll, längere Aufenthalte würde ich aufgrund der Lage aber nicht empfehlen (ausser man fährt gerne lange Strecken mit dem Roller). Das Zimmer wird 1x die Woche gereinigt. Ich finde tägliche Reinigung ebenfalls übertrieben, jedoch wäre es schön, wenn zumindest die Mülleimer regelmässiger geleert werden und es ab und zu frische Handtücher & Toilettenpapier gibt. Auch der Pool war öfters voll mit Blättern & Co. Die Zimmerreinigung an sich war dann aber super. Im Bad geht automatisch die Lüftung an, wenn man das Licht anschaltet. Dies wäre eigentlich kein Problem, jedoch kam bei uns jedes Mal ein sehr unangenehmer Geruch durch die Lüftung rein. Es roch nach verbranntem Grill und ähnlichem.

Close to a major road. Quiet location. Muay Thai Street and Chalong Pier are only a 10-minute drive away. Affordable price. Clean room, almost everything in the room was working properly. Cool private rooftop, but I was there during the rainy season, so it was always wet.

There are two dogs at the property which they keep. They are bigger than I expected, and one of them barks in a threatening manner every time it sees me. You have to request new towels. They didn't make up my room or even empty the trash bin during my entire stay. Tip: Although they didn’t provide breakfast at the accommodation, there’s a nice cafe nearby. For about USD 10-15, they serve a very decent breakfast with coffee. It opens at 8 am.

I loved everything about Coconut Wells - it felt like a quiet mini paradise. The gardens were my favourite part of staying there - there was bird song, butterflies and beautiful trees. I loved how cozy the apartment I stayed in was! And best of all, the hosts/staff were friendly, approachable and super helpful - what a lovely family!!

There was only one thing I think could be improved: the shower sealant had black mould on it, I think the ventilation and water proofing in the shower needs to be better to prevent this from happening.

Coconut Wells is in a "cul-de-sac" driveway, so no busy trafic passing in front of your door. It is overall a pleasant setting and a peaceful place with a more than decent sized swimming pool...All facilities are available and you can find even free indulgence being put on the breakfast/dinner table in the patio. All reflect the atmosphere, easy going and pleasant people.
