The location, the privacy, the incredible beauty of the lodge with its terrace and exotic garden/forest surrounding it, the functionality of the room, the pool and the dining area, all so beautiful and well designed. The communication with Séverine and Marc has been great. They've helped us with everything and offered a very tasty and healthy breakfast.

Owners are very kind. The bungalows look new. Shower is great. Nice balcony overlooking the ocean. Breakfast is delicious.

Lovely 2 night stay. We had the lodge by the pool, which was great for the kids to cool off after being out and about for the day. The owners are really helpful and booked a mangrove tour for us, which was amazing. Also they prepared a lovely breakfast each morning. rooms were extremely comfortable and had a great night sleep. Location is really good, just a 15 minute walk and you are on the beach.

This was our 2nd stay at the Forest Lodge. We like the location, the cabins, the breakfast, the friendly proprietors. One afternoon, the monkeys put on a show, swinging from tree to tree. Convenient to beaches, waterfalls, shopping, restaurants. Mini-fridge in cabin and shared kitchen let you bring back leftovers or make your own dinner if you want.

While the property is most definitely in the forest, it's not far from the main route, so you do hear truck traffic during the day. It didn't bother us at night, though, so it was no big deal for us.

Superb Bungalow with everting what you need after a long journey. Very clean and comfortable with a nice and modern bathroom. The porch outside is specious with Chairs and a hammock. It is in the middle of the forest and you wake up with birds and everything green around you. The breakfast was the best we had so far in Costa Rica and the host are very nice and helpful.

Cabin was great...with beautiful sounds and views of the jungle. Breakfast was good. Didn't use the pool but looked well cared for.

Found it to be alittle pricey...altho the service was quite good. The location is nice for jungle...but not so nice for beach. The beach sits on a national park, so you have to pay a park fee to go to the beach

This was a wonderful jungle retreat. The cabins are beautiful and really well made, lots of attention to detail. We loved seeing so much green through the big windows. The ventilator worked silently and well, there was also a small fridge in the cabin that could fit a surprising amount of things. The staff prepared breakfast to go on request when our activities started early, that was lovely. We personally didn't really notice the road noise, but found the proximity to the main road to be very practical.

extraordinary facilities with very clean, comfortable and modern huts with a lot of animals in the closer area. we spotted animals like toucans and apes. friendly host with nice recommendations for sunset spots and restaurants … would recommend forest lodge to everyone. beach and national park 10 minutes foot walk away with impressive beach and a lot of animals too.

highway is relatively close to the facilities and seems to be highly frequented, especially during the week and also during the night.

The welcome in the bar along with the food was excellent. The shower was great

Loved being up in the jungle and immersed with nature! Falling asleep to the sounds of the jungle was the best part. We felt disconnected from the hustle and bustle of the rest of the city.

The bed we had was a little uncomfortable. Other than that, we loved our stay.

The bungalows were simple and very clean!
