House was very comfortable for our family of five. Everything you would need for the pleasant and comfortable stay they had thought of. Amenities in this house are galore and everything works well. We appreciate that the house was tastefully decorated for holidays which made it a happy place to stay.

We had a wonderful stay in Carmel and we all loved the house. We shared it with 2 other couples and it was great with each of us having our own bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the owners/host thought of everything - first aid kits, sewing kit, flashlights with extra batteries, games, puzzles and books. We would definitely stay here again!!

This is the second time we have stayed here. It’s a great location and the house is great. Clean and well equipped it’s a perfect spot to enjoy Monterey and Carmel.

My daughter and her family live in Hawaii. We met in Carmel for a family vacation. The house was just as described. Very clean, with everything you would need. The bedrooms were all spacious with comfortable beds, and a nice cozy chair for relaxing. The family room, dining room, and kitchen were open, so that you could be in any of those rooms, and still feel connected . There were plenty of games for the children ( and adults ) to be entertained . The grounds were beautiful, with gorgeous flowers. There was a note book with clear instructions for everything in the house, which was very helpful. Deb and her colleagues were amazing. Answered right away when we called or email with questions. They went above and beyond. We had an amazing family time in Carmel, and hope to return one day.

The house is perfect for a big group. It’s so cozy, you immediately feel at home, and the neighbourhood is a dream. Debra is also amazing to work with. We’re already planning our next trip!

The owners of this home have certainly named it appropriately (Peace of Heaven), and we are so glad that they are willing to share it with travelers! The home is incredibly nice and spacious inside and out, and the neighborhood is wonderfully quiet! We cooked meals every day in the home, and everything we needed for meal preparation was there, perfectly clean, and in good condition - the appliances are of high quality and a pleasure to use, including the grill. The beds (there are 3 king sized beds) were as good or better than anything we have ever slept in, and each bedroom has an attached bathroom (which are also well supplied with paper products and even hotel-like soaps and shampoos for those who didn’t bring their own). The yard is large and private, and there is room for lots of cars to park off the street. We were in town to visit family and didn’t really need our car. We parked it in the garage and walked to Ocean Blvd and the beach every day with our dogs (BTW, Alvarado Brewery & Bistro, and the Hog’s Breath Inn, are both dog-friendly restaurants!) — Ocean Blvd is about a 20-25 minute walk, through wonderful neighborhoods of beautiful homes. Overall, everything about this home was wonderful and relaxing. We had very little need for communication with Debra, however prior to arrival and during our stay every time we contacted her she was prompt, thorough, and friendly in reply. In short, everything about this Carmel Peace of Heaven was perfect, and simply amazing, and we are truly thankful to Debra and the owners for providing such a wonderful home away from home. We hope to have an opportunity to stay here again!!

My family and I stayed for a week in early December. The pictures of the property are exactly as you'll find it. It was clean, comfortable, close to Carmel and Pebble Beach and a fantastic place to call home for a week. You'll find everything you need to have a great experience - linens were comfortable, beds were great, kitchen was well appointed with more than we'd expected. I'd recommend this property to anyone looking for a quiet get away close to the beach. My thanks to the owners and property management for making our time away so wonderful.

We stayed for a week during thanksgiving at this lovey three bedroom home and loved everything about it . Each bedroom has its own private bathroom . Bedrooms were large and beds very comfy . We loved the gas fireplace for extra warmth and coziness . The kitchen was fully stocked and the dining table was large enough for us all to eat a lot of family meals together . We loved the little outdoor sitting area and we spent many afternoons out on the front lawn in the sun . We walked To the beach for sunrises and sunsets . Drove a short mile into town for Shopping and strolling and dining . Just and an hour drive south to a Big Sur and lunch at Ventana with amazing ocean views . Just around the corner is a public Pickleball court . Easy 2 mile drive to several shopping plazas and grocery stores . We had four generations at the house for thanksgiving week . We love Carmel and will be back for sure . The property manager responds promptly to any needs and we were even able to get into the house a little early .

First this home is gorgeous and has every amenity one could ask. The four of us travel one week every two months to various locations, some in state, some out of state. This home exceeded any of the places we have rented in the last two years. Debra, our contact person was phenomenal from check in to check out. We liked this property so well; we rented the home for next year.

My husband and I spent three weeks at this lovely home, entertaining family and friends at different times. The house is warm and welcoming, in a great location, and the 3 bedrooms with baths works for guests. The house is well stocked with linens, towels, and every kitchen item imaginable. We loved being able to walk to town for coffee and to the beach. Carmel is a favorite place for us -- lots to do and see. I highly recommend this charming house.

This home is absolutely perfect. Three lovely bedrooms. The living room/dining room area is perfect with an automatic fireplace. The neighborhood is safe, quiet and the neighbors are friendly. The location is wonderful… A few minutes to town, close to the 17 mile drive and Point Lobos. The home is so comfortable: we were here for the last week in September and thought the lack of air conditioning might be an issue but it wasn’t at all: leaving the screened windows open at night for an hour or so cools the house down perfectly. Everything you need is available in the house.

The beds were the most comfortable I’ve ever had in a VrBo. The kitchen had every conceivable item for our needs. The yard was relaxing, and the distance to downtown Carmel easy! The neighborhood was quiet. Wonderful vacation spot!

The house was a perfect spot for our family getaway and was exactly as described. Lots of space in each room. If it has a slightly larger outdoor space it would be perfect.

The property was perfect. The en suite for each of the three bedrooms, the upstairs bedroom with the view and windows open, the sand toys, beach chairs, childrens toys, puzzles, all the kitchen amenities. These ease of checking in , the availability of the property manager for questions! Even going over to property and retrieving something we forgot! This could not have been more perfect!!! Thank you so much!!!!

My husband & I celebrated our 50th anniversary with our two sons' families at Peace of Heaven. The set up of the house met our every need, from the separate bedrooms with very comfy king beds, each with their own bathroom, and TV, to the extra trundle bed and perfect size of the dining room table. And every essential was well stocked from an abundance of extra thick towels and linens, toiletries, paper products, & cleaning supplies. Even non-essentials like candy, cookies, popcorn, coffee, & 2 bottles of wine (maybe because it was our anniversary)! The kitchen had all high-end appliances, and the cupboards had more than enough dishes, as well as cooking utensils, pots, pans, & casserole dishes. Additionally, the house was stocked with lots of games, jigsaw puzzles, and toddler toys! The Wi-Fi was great, and there was even a computer & printer for the grown-ups, but we didn't need it. We couldn't have asked for more, making it a special week with our family that we'll always remember!

Peace of Heaven felt like a home away from home. Comfortable, clean, well-stocked. We thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would stay there again if given the opportunity. It's a healthy walk to downtown Carmel and the beach, but we did it everyday (with a stroller too). The neighborhood is quiet and the neighbors are nice. We have stayed at several different Carmel homes, this one was the most modern. Great place for a family get-away. We recommend!

We enjoyed our stay at “R” Piece of Heaven. This home fit our family perfectly. It was so comfortable and cozy and even had beautiful Christmas Decorations! each bedroom had it’s own bathroom and that was great! The kitchen was stocked with so much on arrival, had great appliances, and was so fun to cook in! The furnishings were beautiful, great outside, comfortable beds, great walk to town and around the area! The fireplace was also great to have and everything worked perfectly! Can’t say enough about it and hope to come back again!
